Question Who’s your favorite among the Vongola Guardians?
My personal favorite is Ryohei. There’s just something hilarious about a guy being so extreme that even the Dying Will Bullet had no effect on him.
Also, I really like the boxing-fighter/ healer-support role Akira Amano went with for him.
And Akira Amano did my boy SO much justice in the Inheritance Arc. 😭
Honestly, for an shonen series with such a stacked main cast, I feel like Reborn! does a pretty good job of giving its characters their moments without making the power balance feel completely one sided compared to most other shonen I’ve watched.
So, who’s your favorite among the Vongola Guardians?

I've always like Gokudera. The only thing about him is didn't like was how they abandoned his sistema CAI. I would have loved to see him expand on that.

Sadly no. Tbh I wasn't a huge fan of the weaponry myself since it just deviated so much from who gokudera is. He's not a gunslinger or archer.

Can’t lie. I’m taking Xanxus > all of the guardians. Yamamoto is probably my favorite in terms of combat abilities but they kept making him go out the SADDEST ways imaginable 😂 It started to piss me off. The run into an L shaped wall was hilarious but bs and then him getting 1 shot in the Shimon arc was my last straw 😂 Xanxus would NEVER. Mini rant over. Honorable mention: Lambo because for his age, he’s got a lot of heart. I always forget he’s like…5?

Mukuro/Chrome. Love illusion powers I also love how hes still a bit villanous and not 100% trustworthy but still has his moments where cares (like caring for chrome and wanting to help Tsuna oit when hes in real trouble). I also just like the weirdo type characters in the group. Chrome is just impossible not to love I also love her growth from a shy person who relies on mukuro to an independent confident fighter in the group.

I think Yamamoto is the most balanced since he is both, an amazing fighter and a peacemaker/genuinely friendly most of the time, he gets along even with the messiest members (Hibari and Gokudera) and even Reborn is usually seen with him, which is basically a blessing 😂.
Close second EASILY is Chrome, Akira fumbled with her by REALLY just keeping her as a vessel for Mukuro to save the day most of the time, but she had a lot of actual potential, I liked that Sub-plot of her finally befriending and opening up a little to the other guardians + Haru and Kyoko, it was nice, she deserved some real friends.
If I was in the show I'll love to be her friend.

Hibari, he has been since i first started reading the manga roughly 15 years ago, I just understood him on a personal level lmao. Even tried to get my parents to buy (foam covered) Tonfa, which didn't go over very well.
2nd place goes to Mukuro, creepy little murder goblin that he is.

Yamamoto! I don't care if the narrative purposely makes him lose multiple times. Fact is they HAVE to keep inventing wild reasons to incapacitate/make him lose, because he simply WON'T otherwise. I love that he's nice and chill one second but locks in and turns into an absolute beast once things get serious and I love how he gets a little cocky when it happens too lol. My second favorite is Hibari.

Mukuro. I love illusionary powers but I also find it hilarious how he’s kind of a hypocrite. He keeps saying he wants to destroy them and he’s got his own reasons for helping when he does and is just biding his time, but I like to think he is slowly getting attached (he’s only a teen too after all, even with past lives knowledge or going through hell, depending on anime or manga). Plus he trusts Tsuna with Chrome and has his own fucked up way of caring. I do think it was a missed opportunity to not go more into the parallels of how he and Tsuna both want the Vongola destroyed but in different directions.
Otherwise, Yamamoto. There’s a lot more to his character than what’s surface level and he can be either very comforting or very menacing. Plus he gets the best animation for his fights and he’s obviously Reborn’s favorite lol.

Ryohei! The funny friend of the protagonist is almost always my favorite character in animes! Like Rock Lee, Usopp and Krillin!

Tsuna’s my favorite, but after him it’s Yamamoto (plus he’s the guardian I’d most likely be friends with IRL). Gokudera’s a close third.

Personally I think for me it’s a tie between Hibari and Gokudera. I like Hibari’s lone wolf style, not to mention the time we do see him fight it’s pretty much always him curb stomping his opponent. With Gola Mosca(the one from the Ring Conflicts) he took him down in what 2-3 hits, in his fight with Genkishi he was toying with him while he waited for the switch to his younger self and even then still fought like a badass.
For Gokudera it’s mostly his weapons and techniques. The dynamite fighting style he had in the beginning till the Future Arc was cool and inventive, especially with some of his tricks like the mini bomb illusion where he had a mini pice of dynamite be thrown further to make Ken think it was a regular sized piece of Dynamite or the escape bomb where he used a weaker piece of dynamite to blow himself out of the way.
I especially love his Box Weapon along with the Sistem CIA. All the cool weapons and different shots he can use due to him having 5 flame wavelengths was cool. Wish we could have seen more of his Cambio Forma with Ruri

Weirdly enough. My favorite character in the show is Gokuderakun. Love his energy outfits and power. But in terms of being a guardian my favorite is easily Yamamoto. I love him sort of pretending it was all a game but locking in for the last moment letting them know he knew what was up the whole time. Also hibari was such an underrated force in the 10 year future I loved him. And ryohei was a monster in the varia arc he had me crying to my tv
