Random/Miscellaneous accidentally hooked a girl's dupatta at garba and his bf beat me up
i was dancing at this garba with my partner when this one women started rotation dance(she was doing 360' turns) near me. so obviously, her dupatta started flying around and it got stuck with my accessories in my fingers and when she moved towards her bf (away from me), he dupatta got stuck with me. now of course this wouldnt have been a big deal if her boyfriend wasnt short tempered or if that dupatta was free (not attached). But no, she had attached that dupatta to her blouse by a safety pin. her sudden jerk movements while the dupatta was attached to me got her blouse a little ripped. now it was totally unintentional. im not a jerk.
but im an idiot cause i had chugged few whiskey shots before the dance. when his bf came up to me to confront about it (it looked more like he was gonna beat my ass which he later did), he could smell the alcohol from me. Now obviously i was f-ked.
imagine this, a guy tearing woman's blouse in a garba night who happen to be reeking of alcohol. how does it sound? pretty f-king bad.
i told him it was totally an accident and my girl came stepped in front of me. so he before he left, he told me "teri g*and todunga bahar nikal".
after he left, and we started dancing, i totally even forgot about this mishap. we danced for 2 hour and so and then when i left outside to get the cab, he grabbed my collar from behind and punched me right in the face. i got kind of dizzy and before i could process anything, i saw him leaving on his bike. my girl was still inside and therefore she didnt see anything. i was actually shocked he waited this long for me to come outside. it was a stupid move on my side to go drunk to an event with my partner at night.

That’s why feel not to go to garba in Kanpur because of such low mentality and creep people over here.

First why people drink and go in such events ? They don’t even know the basic civic sense and secondly in such events accidents can happen so why they have to be violent ? If a guy is saying sorry and he is also with a girl then i can be ignored.

Hmm. Agree on both. Just saw one of the comments - wo bkl gayab karne ki baat kar raha hai jiska koi lena dena bhi nahi hai incident se. So most of people in this city have this kind of mentality.
