Ask Kanpur My Mom Made These Handmade Purses..

My mom has been making these purses and traditional Indian potlis, I thought why not share her talent with more people.

They pair beautifully with almost any outfit and also make great gifts.

I’d love to hear some honest opinions on these.

I understand that you found something similar on Amazon, but I’m really really honestly telling you that these purses are handmade by my mom. You can take a closer look at them, and you’ll definitely notice the little details that come with handmade work.

Tell your mom to click pics where she is holding them , cause these are clearly fake

OP these are decent photos. Trust is more important in small businesses than good looking photos. Use these. Also tips for product photography:

Buy a big white chart paper. Make a backdrop with it by resting against a wall and floor in an L shape where the corner is a smooth curve (see photo in the link). Place the product a few inches from the “wall” angled at a 1/3rd position

Use natural lighting during the morning time for diffused natural light. Take this setup in your balcony/ near a window for best light.

Normal phone camera is good. If it has portrait mode, try using it

Props like some jewellery/ beads/ flowers is optional. If you are good at composition you can try adding those in. Look at references and just try to replicate that.

You can spend one morning taking photos of all her products in this setup

Basic editing of exposure, shadows and temperature on the phone or adobe Lightroom (free) will get you good results.
