For those who don't like Nature's Head composting toilets.. what is your better alternative?
In the market for a composting toilet. Trying to make a suite feel comfortable with a solid composting toilet that is easy to clean and offers urine diversion that can be piped to location of choice. What are the best options out there right now?

Honestly the bucket set up is 1000x better than the nature's head. I have one and it sits under my bus with the rest of the junk I'm forgetting about. It's like they designed it bad on purpose. You could use bags if you want and have a separate area for pee. If you use a nature's head you WILL end up peeing too much and having leaks and when you remove it from the toilet it spills sometimes. Emptying the poop is also terrible and it will end up getting into the area the bolts that hold it closed go so those get poo on them too. The stir also doesn't work very well and there will be unmixed stuff in the bottom. Just have a bucket for poo, for pee, and sawdust or another dry absorbant material. What are your plans for the poop?

Check out the offerings from Separett. I like their designs (but pricey of course)

I’m looking at a Separett Tiny for our RV. We’ve been using a C-Head toilet and it’s a fail for female anatomy when it comes to urine separation. Impossible to keep urine out of the main composting chamber (a plastic bucket).
But Separett’s urine diverter looks a lot better than the C-Head’s.
If you buy a Separett please do message me or post a response to this comment with your experience. Thanks!1

My favorite is a 5 gallon bucket. No need for urine diversion and the compost I make is absolute top tier.
