Same with Oliver Tree, he died in a helicopter crash and motherfukcers were like “lol! His music sucked! lol who is this guy!? lol his hair is weird” SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!! A PERSON FUCKING DIED!!!!! Same with Owen Harris, a 13 year old child who had his whole life in front of him got ran over by a car while riding an e-bike and died, and mfs on instagram were clowning on him and making memes about his death. Remember that trans girl Charolette who committed suicide and posted that tweet that said ”it’s a nice view“ with the bridge? I remember some disgusting ass people made fun of her, and clowned on her, and a YouTuber (I’m not gonna say who bc it might violate rule 1) made his twitter banner that image. Like, usually i see no problem with it. character design needs diversity and everything, you should be able to design your character in any way you want.

but it has become almost a trend recently that im seeing so much on deviantart. maybe im just getting recomended too much and its just a specific problem im having.

But for what it looks like is that people add it to their characters just to make it edgy without any real weight behind it and it just feels cringy and disrespectfull towards people with actual real mental illness

Look at this garbage. Six fingers? Seriously? The animators got so incredibly lazy they just typed "old scientist" into AI program and didn't even bother to fix the hand before broadcasting this garbage to millions of people. This is pure, unadulterated laziness. AI is a cancer on art, created by soulless parasites, instead of real human work! Completely unwatchable.

I hate how everyone glazes her in the show because she's pretty! Like, who cares about her communication problems? She literally doesn't even need to communicate because people like her anyway because she is pretty.... Imagine if she had no look? No one gives a fuck about her.

Hopefully I'm not flying too close to the sun with this one, I'm not hating on Metallica or James Hetfield himself, but more so this sentiment which I see artists say, and this example is just the most recent one, especially because I saw it in person.

I fucking hate when artists pretend that they are somehow apolitical, as if art by its very nature isn't about communicating ideas and feelings, which inevitably will be political in some fashion. I'm not even getting into the "all art is political" debate, but 99% of the time someone claims their art isn't political, they are bold-face lying. If you are writing generic pop songs about relationships, sure, the political messaging is either less obvious or unintentional, and we can debate the merits of analyzing the politics of say a Taylor Swift song or what ever, but most artists that make this bullshit claim of not spreading any messages or agendas are either so stupid I can only conclude they have suffered significant brain damage, or the real reason, they are lying through their teeth because they think it's good marketing.

Metallica as the example that prompted this, I was there at the Sphere when they said that they weren't here to influence anyone or spread any agenda. You know what song they played right before this statement? Leper Messiah, you know, the song about criticizing organized religious institutions (and not to mention the visuals for the song were some 1984 big brother type shit)? Definitely not political though. You know what they opened the show with? Blackened, the song about the cold war, and the destruction of the planet by man's greed and hatred of each other via nuclear proliferation. Or how about the second to last song, One, are we going to really pretend one of if not the single most popular anti-war song in metal as a genre is "apolitical"? Fuck off.

If you don't want to comment on modern issues that's fine, but don't claim you are apolitical immediately after performing an incredibly political song. Why the FUCK is it not pronounced the way it looks like it would be pronounced? why is it pronounced like "kernel" instead of "colonel"? What, are you the seed of a corn or a commissioned officer in the military?

Fnaf, Baldi, Granny, Poppy Playtime chapter 1, and Escape the Backrooms were all received well for actual reasons. Fnaf brought a totally new camera management gameplay loop, Baldi was a hilarious parody of crappy 90s edutainment games, Granny had great tension with the audio mechanics, Poppy chapter 1 had great animations and GrabPack physics, and Escape the Backrooms actually nailed cooperative liminal space dread with huge varied levels. They all brought something original to the table.

Now every single modern game on Steam looks like a low effort YouTube thumbnail made in Photoshop.

It feels like dev teams just follow the exact same formula to farm clicks: make a plastic looking mascot in Blender, give it way too many sharp teeth, paint the walls in bright primary colors, throw in a drone to press red buttons, and call it a day.

Look at the pics I attached just as examples. Choo Choo Charles is literally just a spider train gimmick on a track, and that Banban picture with all the monsters lined up next to each other is easily one of the best and most obvious examples of this whole trend. Banban is just flat empty corridors with zero lighting.

There is zero atmosphere or actual level design anymore. It went from people making cool experimental games to people making toy commercials to sell plushies to 8 year olds.

I’m going to immediately decide NOT to download your app if you feel the need to use porn or sex as the main selling point. I already hate ai and will never download any, but imo this is the most obnoxious ai/chatbot ad I’ve ever seen. This is just a screenshot but as actual video it was extremely easy to tell that the eggs were meant to represent breasts. Pretty much all the panels shown had the eggs jiggling. The eggs were jiggling more in the middle one when compared to the top one. In the bottom panel the eggs as you can see where both jiggling and extensively gushing yolk(which I’m pretty sure is meant to represent breast milk). I just absolutely hate this ad.

Now don't get me wrong; I accept change too, but slang words like these are the only time where I will make a great exception. I don't even get the whole appeal behind these words being mainstream, and I'm a Gen Zer too. Like, what's even the point in slang like this? It's not like they're going to remain on the mainstream lines of slang forever, so what's the point? If anything, I barely even see the word gyatt anymore, and that was mainstream in 2024.

I didn't even mind the slang at first, but after a while of seeing these words everywhere, I just couldn't take it anymore. I cannot bear to see anymore words like these losing their original meaning, but I can't stop it, can I?

So while I may not be able to stop it now, or tomorrow, or the next week, or the next month, or probably the next year if so, I know these slang words are going to stop being mainstream eventually in turn of a new slang. I won't set my expectations too high, but I desperately need to see an improvement, but I know it'll probably be a downgrade.

This is gonna sound bad but the part that really makes me hate this isn’t the fact that they’re joking about someone dying, but it’s just so fucking over done. You see it EVERYWHERE, any time Come as You Are plays someone always says “turns out he DID have a gun!” It’s not fucking funny, you heard that from the internet like the other 12 people I’ve heard make that joke.

Like there’s no actual cleverness to the joke and it’s depending solely on shock value to be funny and there isn’t any shock value to it because it’s been done so much, but there’s always some edgy kid that thinks he’s Norm Macdonald spitting out a joke with no wit to it whatsoever. It’s dull and overdone.

Toei mainly does this with One Piece and Dragon Ball, and it's incredibly frustrating. There's a reason why a new One Piece anime is being made. Toei has completely ruined the pacing of the original anime by dragging out canon content with unnecessary filler. It's one of the biggest reasons why so many people consider One Piece boring or poorly paced.

If Toei simply made separate filler episodes instead, viewers could skip them entirely and enjoy much higher-quality canon episodes with proper pacing. But instead, Toei chooses to stretch out the actual story as much as possible to maximize viewership, sacrificing the quality of the anime in the process.
