Agreed! There's also Dingle Park, there are nice paths there or the Botanical Garden in Wolfville that'll be absolutely beautiful too.

Happy October Halifax!

There's a lot of spooky stuff happening this month from the Hellifax Film Festival, to Nocturne Art at Night, to the Fear Farm Haunted Houses and Zombie Maze opening in Truro.

I'll host small group outings to visit all 3. But wish me luck at the fear farm though because I'm already scared and I've only just heard about it!

And lastly, on Saturday Oct 31st at 7 pm, I'm hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner & Costume Party where you get assigned roles and try to find out who amongst us is the murderer.

I've already started assigning roles for people who have signed up for the early bird, so let me know if you'd like me to save one of the more extravagant roles for you.

See ya around!

Our Music Room Chamber Players Series has two fun classical concerts this month in our intimate 105-seat concert hall!

On October 7th, we have some great nuevo tango music with Astor Piazzolla in Buenos Aires

Then on October 14th, we have Blurring the Lines, featuring local pianist Silvio Pupo, bassist Max Kasper, and drummer Tom Roach with jazz standards by Duke Ellington and others, as well as the seriously catchy Danzon No. 2 by Arturo Marquez

Tickets are only $20 if you're 35 or under, or $35 if you're over 35! Hope to see some of you there.

Hello Halifax. We are a group of PC gamers that are hosting our third public PC LAN party in Lower Sackville on October 24th. It is Halloween themed, and we encourage people to wear costumes!

We’ll be jumping into the Halloween maps in Team Fortress 2, Trouble in Terrorist Town in Garry's Mod, Left 4 Dead 2 Versus, Zombie Panic Source and Jabroni Brawl: Episode 3.

This is more of a casual LAN. There are no tournaments, just friendly competition. We do plan to have a photo booth and costume contest as something fun for Halloween.

The event is $25 and BYOC (bring your own computer). Tickets and more details can be found at https://sackvillelanparty.party/ . Hopefully we will see you there!
