SUCCESS This still feels unreal…
Never thought I’d see the day where modern NVIDIA GPUs have full metal acceleration within macOS 😮💨👌🏻

Hackintoshing lives for another year! macOS Tahoe will be the FINAL release for Intel Macs, as stated during the Platforms State of the Union presentation. It's been a good ride.
Officially supported Intel models:
All graphics that worked in Sequoia should work in Tahoe.
Wait for an official announcement. If you post about OCLP before that I am going to send Tim Apple to remove every Mac from your house.
No.
No.
No.
Yes, with OpenCore 1.0.5.
Make sure to upgrade all of your kexts to their latest versions.
AppleALC is broken because AppleHDA was removed from Tahoe. Use HDMI/DP audio for the time being.
WhateverGreen is bugged on AMD cards, so you can't use boot arguments like agdpmod=pikera. You are affected by this if you get a kernel panic with AMDSupport mentioned.
IntelBTPatcher causes kernel panics
IntelMausi may not work correctly with certain Intel ethernet chipsets

apolgy for bad english
where were u wen intel die
i was at house eating apple when phone ring
'intel is kil'
'no'
As I'm sure we've all heard by now, macOS 27 will not be compatible with Intel Macs. This means that for all intents and purposes, (Intel) Hackintosh is dead.
Apple explained last year during WWDC 2026's after-events that macOS 26 Tahoe would be the last version for Intel Macs. also go read the news more often smh
All x86 CPUs are no longer supported for macOS.
Yes No
macOS 15 Sequoia and macOS 26 Tahoe will still be supported for security updates. One more year for Sequoia, two three for Tahoe.
It is up to the developers of the software to keep releasing Intel versions.
No.
Although ARM is an instruction set architecture shared by many processors, Apple hardware and software includes many unique instructions that are not used in other ARM processors and currently cannot be emulated.
There are images released by Apple for use in VMs which technically do not use these instructions, but even if a way is figured to boot it on non-Apple devices, there will be no drivers available for the GPU, Audio, etc.
Too much has already been removed from the first beta for it to be compatible with Intel.
Let's get you back to bed grandma
No.
Yes, it will remain open. Regardless of whether Intel is supported, people will still try to hackintosh either for a specific use case or just for curiosity's sake.

Running on a ASRock H310CM-DVS, (no Wi-Fi or BT), Intel Core i7-9700, 32GB of DDR4 ram, and an RX6600 (8GB)
Kinda my first Hackintosh. i did a HackBook Pro on a HP EliteBook a while back but i wanted something more, so i did this one. honestly runs so much better than i anticipated.
I do need suggestions on some good Wi-Fi + BT cards, I don't need continuity or handoff, though they would be appreciated!

I swapped the R.T.X 3050 8GB OC card for an RX 580 SP 2048 and flashed it with the MSI Armor RX 570 ROM; the GPU is recognized by the drivers in both Windows and macOS, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work perfectly (except for features like AirDrop or Handoff, as I am using an Intel Wi-Fi card), while other functions—such as sleep mode—work fine.
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-12700F
Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI
GPU: Ellesmere RX 580 8GB 2048SP (VBIOS: MSI RX 570)
RAM: DDR5 4800 32GB
Ethernet Card: Intel Ethernet Controller I225-V

My PC is a intel i7-6700K, R T X 3060 12GB, 32GB of DDR4. Weird bug that i got tho is that all my dark and normal blues are purple i have no clue why i havent seen anyone else talk about it so it seems like it is just me that is having this strange bug. Btw if you haven’t seen this is, it is all done with nullmoth’s NVIDIA MacOS Driver, here is the link: https://github.com/nullmoth/nvidia-macos-driver

Hello everyone, sorry for the late release, we had to do some last minute patches and stability improvements so the kext is mostly stable for public use. However, all is done, and I am releasing the source code and the kext for everyone here.
In the repo there is insctructions on how to download and use the kext, there is an automatic installer for all OS's too. Feel free to report any bugs in my DMs or through GitHub Repo as this kext is still in Beta. AirDrop is still WIP. Thank you to my beta testers who helped me fix issues for the cards! Notably u/Left-Yam-6166, u/nphuly, u/elcomix97 and u/CVE-2026 and many more!

Hello everyone,
I have an HP 205 G8 All-in-One PC with the following specifications:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 5425U
RAM: 8 GB DDR4 3200 MHz
Storage: 256 GB M.2 NVMe SSD
I would like to install macOS on this computer using OpenCore.
Which macOS version would be the best choice for my hardware in terms of stability, performance, and compatibility? I’m looking for the smoothest and most trouble-free Hackintosh setup possible.
Which version of macOS would you recommend, and are there any known compatibility issues with this hardware?
Thanks in advance!

Hey all,
I’ve seen a few screenshots lately of people running Tahoe on NVIDIA cards (GTX 1650, 1050, etc.). Before I try it myself, I’d like to hear from people who actually have it running day to day.
My build:
The NullMoth driver only officially supports Sequoia right now, and as far as I can tell no 40-series card has been validated yet. So I’m trying to work out whether Tahoe is worth trying or whether I should stay on windows at the moment
If you’ve got Tahoe running on an NVIDIA card, could you share your exprience on
Thanks!

Some of you might know me, some of you might now. Pretty long in the scene.
I have some years of experience developing drivers now, its part of my day to day Job. Few days ago null-moth's Nvidia combo driver has been released which has inspired me to start my own project which will go into nullmoths direction, their driver is inefficient by design, there is no other way to do what they did though.
I am searching for roughly 10-15 people that can run a probe script from a linux environment to log the linux driver behaviour, test the driver and troubleshoot things with me. I do not have a RX7000 series gpu and need your help with this, the broader the device spectrum the better.
Ofcourse then there is the "I will not use AI drivers aspect", no this will not be a vibecoded project. I use AI for mundane things such as non-production GUI, evaluating logs and searching for strings in files, occasionally writing firmware for some gadgets that never see the light of day. Everything else is done by me by hand. AI is a tool and not a human brain replacment.
If you want to take a look at my previous work feel free to take a look at my GitHub. In the past i have mainly done iOS security research / prototype device bringup (patching iBoots, kernels and devicetrees aswell as backporting kexts to future iOS versions, occasionally patching firmware of debug probes)
Github: https://github.com/dssoftx
Many thanks, if you have such a GPU and the knowledge required, please reply here or contact me privately. Thank you!

I have had the privilege of using Ampere One's 192 Core CPU and it had me thinking. I know Apple SOC uses special CPU functions not really available on other ARM CPUs...but I wonder if we could theoretically use Ampere based CPUs for Hackintosh going forward.

I made a new Hack this week to have OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.7 on a Packard Bell EasyNote TJ66 laptop. It manages to load into Apple's kernel but gets stuck at [ PCI configuration begin ]. Unfortunately, none of what I've tried has worked, followed everything in the guide:
npci flags, npci=0x2000 and npci=0x3000. My BIOS doesn't have neither Above4G nor resizable BAR options, even after the update (it honestly doesn't have much besides very basic options, it's Phoenix 1.31).RebaseRegions to no effect, with or without the npci flags.Laptop specs:

hi, sorry if my question is dumb but I'd like to know: is it possible to create a virtual machine using VMware or another similar program to install macOS on it, and have the Wi-Fi and other features work properly?

since in the couple of days i’ve seen many successful stories on GTX dgpu and Xe igpu. is there any hope for intel wifi to fully support airdrop and other continuity?
