Am i stupid for mining PERL with 5070 ?

I should be making around 2-3 dolars a day. But im paiing 0.23 USD for electricity :/ so profit is only around 1.2 USD is that worth it or just degrading my GPU? And i havent acounted for conversion fees

What do you thing? Is anybody doing the same?

I run a rig with 6 5070ti, 1 4070, and my 5080 in my pc. I produce far more revenue with less electricity than my asic miners which total 760th mining btc. I'm running between 1.2-1.4ph. With the pearl bubble last week, I hit just over $60/day, back down to 40ish right now.

You should be mining on Kryptex, you get paid in whatever coin you want, auto-conversion without the hassle. I take mine in btc.

Nice :) im using Kryptex too i want the payout in XMR but i guess they dont have that option or?

MoneroOcean will allow you to mine PRL and get paid in XMR. That's the singular goal of the pool; mine XMR or the most profitable alternative and get paid in XMR.

not sure why this post came up on my feed as i’m not a cryptominer but does that mean you’ve essentially paid for the cost of your GPUs after about half a year? seems to be a pretty decent payout

Completely dependent on the market. Two weeks ago, my monthly estimate was just over $2k a month, now its down to $1100. That being said, 2 months ago, it was $480 per month.

ah thats crazy, i assume you just jump ship to dif coins to maximise profit? i’ve just been considering getting into it since i’ve got solar and I imagine it would mitigate a fair bit of the electricity cost

Pearl is the most profitable for gpu mining, period. I am always monitoring alternate coins but nothing come close right now.

From what I understand that's a decent card for PRL. The dev for bzminer has been actively fielding R&D and support concerns in the MoneroOcean discord.

You don't need to game 24/7. A simple 30 min game session does more damage to the GPU compared to mining 24/7 for an entire month. Thermal contraction and expansion.
