I find this funny but also a little annoying. I’ve read some articles now on the Futurama appearance at comic con. It sounded really fun.

but the producers seemed to be going out of their way to tell everyone we are not canceled. Enough so that they started the panel with that literal status, not cancelled. And Yet some of the articles I read said they started with not canceled, but even though they’ve been canceled.

So the status of the show is definitely not canceled

there’s an entire season coming up almost the same length as 10 episodes but it’s three mini movies.

No one has ever said the door is shut at Hulu for more regular seasons. If you see that anywhere, it’s all people inferring that from the Matt Groening interview. he never said David X Cohen NEVER said Claudia Katz NEVER said the show is definitely done at Hulu with regular episodes. It’s just at the moment they are not doing regular episodes. They’re doing a season of specials. And those specials were ordered before season 14 even aired. And the so-called series finale their 5th 6/7? That was written and done before the specials were even ordered. So any future order would depend how well S14 did.

And when I hear Matt say I’m not worried makes me hope for some more.

He was one of the best Con Guests I've met. He genuinely loves his fans. Though I don't know when he was signing antiquing if he was genuinely annoyed or gruffly amused.
