Well, she did this.

It happened so randomly and suddenly that I didn't even know how to react to it, because it's the last thing I can expect from my mom lol.. Especially against the background of what some of my friends faced, whose parents disapproved and devalued creativity, including furry art.

Well... Now I know how my mom will react to the rest of my work and I will trust her. Although I doubt she knows about furry as a subculture, and I didn't tell her.

I only know that she was engaged in creativity as a job, and I only remember one time when she painted something anthropomorphic with animals, namely an anthro cat on a sugar bowl with an Egyptian theme. And unfortunately, this sugar bowl disappeared from sight, but I remember it for sure.

I have a thing for "herbivore" female characters who have an urge for violence stemming from a complex about being weak.

As I already mentioned, the doe is physically incapable of eating meat, so the lynx finishes it off—but the doe carries out the main part of the hunt and the kill.

I have one friend who’s a furry who’s not out to me. I have several friends in the pup leather community. I’m a middle age white cis gay guy who works in aviation and generally like to go as a meme costume. The anti trans and bigoted senator Tuberville’s statements last week gave me the idea to go to a few Halloween parties as an airline pilot with a furry mask and tail.

HOWEVER: the idea feels icky to me and I honestly think it would be insensitive to some people. The joke is pointed at the senator and his absurdity but I can’t help but think someone who’s part of your community might thing it was a joke at their expense instead.

Any insight is appreciated, sincerely, a respectful ally.
