If Harry was a girl, "she" would still be living evidence that the person he hated most took the person he loved the most from him and then got her killed. If anything, a resemblance to Lily would be even more painful for him than a resemblance to James.
And Snape never made an actual sexual advance on Lily. Even if he did once and got rebuffed, there would have been nothing "creepy" about it whatsoever as long as he respected the boundary, which he would have. Why am I so confident about that? Because when a man has an objectifying, "possessive" sexual obsession, there is no way in hell that he will just let her get with a man whose guts he already violently hates. We know that Snape was capable of murder. The only explanation for why there wasn't a double homicide is that he loved her enough to choose her happiness with James over his own deepest desires (both for her and for revenge) which is the exact opposite of "possessive". Being ugly and having desires is not in any way a crime, and it's sad to see that you think so.
A lot of issues that men have with women (gold-digging, the idea that women think men need to be stoic, how men are viewed in the family unit, etc) are actually patriarchal in nature and its men in the last biting themselves in the ass all these years later. Well its actually a combination of patriarchal values and some women being assholes. But if "not all men", then surely "not all women"? Granted feminism has a problem right now in that many groups (TERFS + misandrists mostly) have claimed to act for feminism. That is not feminism. Men, I am sorry that you are experiencing gender bias, it does hurt, but please use this as a learning experience for not only yourself (you didn't do anything and people can be assholes without it being the majority demographic belief) but also to see what women systematically go through and apply that info where you can. Trans Healthcare for adults and children are scientifically proven to be beneficial in literally like 99.5% of cases. Transition surgery has a higher happiness rate than knee surgery. Detransitioners also mostly transition due to social ostracization. So a majority of detransitioners due so unwillingly out of fear for their safety. No one is doing sex change surgeries on minors. They are giving minors puberty blockers which have minimal adverse affects compared to the good they do.
Also if you're scared of "men dressing up as women to get into bathrooms", you're scared of cis men. Straight up. The men who are pretending are not actually trans by your own logic. If they are FAKING being a woman, then they are not trans. Being trans can require so much money and effort and pain depending on what surgeries you get, your life experiences, where you live. NO ONE is suffering all that for years and years to assault a woman in a bathroom. Also? If you try to tell me how trans women are such rapists, then I need you to also send me a statistic on rape done by cis people, and what demographic experiences the most sexual assualt.
Yes, mainly the generative AIs(especially the LLMs like ChatGPT or Gemini) are like the most useless forms yet investors pour money into it. There's many variations that are much better and efficient like federated AIs(multiple AIs working together into a whole, doesn't have to retrain the entire thing), neurosymbolic AIs, and Graph Neural Networks(better at figuring out logic and not hallucinating). I don't get why companies insist on singular LLMs when there are a bunch of much more efficient and PROFITABLE architectures of AI.
AI as a concept isn’t bad but heavily contributing to a climate crisis with technology that can aids the ever present military industrial complex might be one of the worst things ever conceived.

Palestine is a country that kills gay people, oppresses women, has celebrated 9/11 and the mass killings of both Americans and Israelis. They have a government that has funded terrorism for decades to fight a proxy war with Israel then actively deny this. The war between Israel and Palestine has been running for decades longer than most of us have been alive.
Palestine has tried infiltrating Israel since the 1960s and has conducted numerious cross border raids which has resulted in the deaths of tons of civilians and military personel.
In the 1970s and 1980s Palestine had attempting multiple plane hijackings, hostage taking and northern border incursions.
The Intifadas which happened from 1987 to 1993 and 2000 to 2005 featured protests which resulted in mass stabbings, stone throwing and an increase in suicide bombers, shootings and urban warfare against Israel.
As of 2007, Gaza has indiscriminately fired thousands of missles into Israeli towns and cities and was only invaded in 2023 after Hamas crosses the border and murdered 1300 israeli civilians in the middle of the night.
Despite all this, Israel has shown great restraint in not attacking Palestine and has tried numerious times to work with the government to stop this yet their government has repeatedly defended and protected these groups.
And keep in mind, this is off the top of my head, there have been several mass casualty events caused by Palestine towards Israel.
Infact I don't think a lot of you guys understand that Palestine wants to kill all the jews on earth and would actively put you in a camp and exterminate your bloodline if they had the choice. Yet you fly their flags and pretend they wouldn't.
Classical music sucks so much because the people who made it were rich pretentious kids who had everything handed to them on a silver platter their entire life, and they have no idea what it is like to live in this day and age where there is so much pain (terrorism, bigotry, suicide etc.) so they just are completely one-dimensional. I’m sorry, but perhaps you’ve just been listening to the wrong kinds of classical music? If you want stuff about death and terror, you might want to listen to Shostakovich, specifically his string quartet (number eight I believe?). A lot of opera is about pain and suffering (and love). I understand not liking classical music, but saying that all of it is sucks objectively because the composers were rich is just wrong. And of course classical music doesn’t concern itself with modern problems, it’s older, from a different time, with different problems. Not to say that terrorism or suicide didn’t exist back then. And like I said, there is classical music about exactly this sort of stuff.
In my opinion, that is the one exception. Mainly, don't have un protected sex and just plan on aborting the baby because you don't want it. If you don't want it, use protection. But rape is the one exception to this.

I've had plenty conversations with some people... and been blocked/banned by others. Like, I get they care about people in danger, but damn... I think they care about being activists more than lives being saved, I don't know. I have lost braincells over it.

What gets downvoted is any opinion that’s not popular because it challenges what they believe to be true. I usually never downvote anything unless it’s completely rude or false. I’m not afraid to be proven wrong. It’s ok to be wrong. Being wrong is not the problem. It’s people’s pride that prevents them from being humble and admitting they were wrong. It’s a strength to admit you’re wrong. How else can one truly grow.
