Discussion Anyone else had a problem with Nebo clips?

I bought their Transcend 3000 headlamp and have been using it for hiking during summer trips. I haven't used it for more than 2 months and was gentle with it throughout its use. Much to my surprise, the clip that holds the lamp isn't what I expected from something so pricey. I was enjoying the view on a mountain. I didn't notice one of the clips that held the lamp had broken off at some point during the hike... The headband/clip was something I never imagined being a failure point. I bent over to look at a spider, and I guess I stood up straight too fast and hit a tree branch and then poof. The lamp disengaged from the headband due to a missing clip and enjoyed an express trip to the bottom of the mountain... I didn't have a backup, so I had to use my phone until morning light. I've been using Nebo for YEARS, and I think this might be a sign that I should try something else. Any replacement suggestions, or is there a brand that I can't go wrong with?

Nothing is foolproof, but I'm fond of headbands (and their associated headlamps) from Skilhunt and Armytek. I have heard of people breaking some of the older Skilhunt headbands, but they switched to a different plastic and those seem to be more durable.

Zebralight headlamps also have an excellent reputation. Their headbands use a silicone holder which I find less comfortable, but breakage seems quite improbable.
