New Product Lumintop Tiger retro flashlight.

This flashlight captures both retro vibes and top-notch performance by pairing a classic design with a powerful LED. It’s bound to be the ultimate choice for night walks.

Looks like a missed opportunity:

- the button is used to change the modes — it would be way more intuitive with multi-position sliding switch

- cold and low CRI light that does not resemble the incandescent light at all

Hah! Why does it need a tactical mode? Honestly, just Off-Low-Medium-High would be wonderfully intuitive

Indeed! Nitecore EDC09 nailed it perfectly with the slider for OFF/Low/Medium/High (there also a button for Moonlight and CCT-changing).

Calling it 'tactical' is not exactly wrong, given the original and intended use, just the wording doesn't fit the vintage feel;

The original lights in this style operated exactly like this, albeit with the one level.

Should definitely be warm white and high-CRI, though.

I have the same thought about the CCT and CRI, they should have went with a 2700K - 4000K emitter

I feel exactly the same. I was bummed to find out that the switch isn't a slider.

Wow, whoever designed that did not understand the assignment.

Sounds like marketing copy. 🤨

Chinese marketing copy at that. "It's bound to be the ultimate choice for night walks." 🤣🤣

Of what ?

In marketing, copy means the written text or words used in advertisements and promotional materials with the goal of persuading an audience to take a specific action.

Oh I see, gotcha. And yes it does.

One of these with a good LED would be cool. You could fit a massive battery in that handle too.

I think the chonky light with massive runtime is an underrated segment. I don’t need huge lumen output. Give me like 300 sustained lumens and a chonky battery and it’s a perfect flashlight for the house.

This is asking for a 3000K maximum…

More like 2700k. They didn't have the gas mixes to allow for hotter filaments back then.

Oh man… this needs to be 3000k

I wish that button was a momentary switch. I love my old Coleman light. Simple on and off sliding switch and a momentary button.

Almost all of my vintage lights have that more spots in but not one replica ever seems to include it

This could have been such a great light...

So cold.  :(

I'd love one of these in a 3000K. I wonder how easy it would be to do an emitter swap.

So close to a add to cart for me. 3000K or less

Real missed opportunity here without a high-CRI low CCT emitter. I would even prefer it if it were a single mode at around it's max sustained lumen level.

I need more simple but high quality lights to give to people.

Does it have any heft to it or thin sheat metal feel like the now antique versions? Also what battery 18650 21700?

6

Its design is similar to a tiger head flashlight. This flashlight is powered by a 26800.

I agree with the other comments here. The UI doesn't fit the controls, and the emitter is a very poor choice. 3000K high CRI with an SFT-40 or SFT-70 would be much more appropriate.

What emitter? That thing is begging for an emitter swap

To be honest this is just disappointing.

They took the retro look but none of the features that make a retro light appealing.

Simple on off momentary switch, long battery life, warm light.

I’ve had one of their AAA flashlights on my keychain for like ten years now

It would be the one of most popular item if on sale.
