I'm a week late by Chanalysis released their crypto adoption report and I recommend everybody check it out, just so we know where we stand. https://www.chainalysis.com/blog/2026-global-crypto-adoption-index/

So I'm been listening American Kingpin audiobook about Ross Ulbricht. Great so far. Anyways it got me thinking about where crypto is headed.

I remember when I got into crypto in 2017, what really was exciting to me was some of the libertarian views that Ross had. I could move money with Bitcoin to a political cause that maybe my government didn't agree with, I could avoid being cut off from the banking system like they did to the Canadian Truckers, I could move money 24/7/365 even on a banking holiday.

The next evolution was my obsession with Ethereum, the same properties of Bitcoin but the ability to get loans, tokens, and more.

It's about being neutral and censorship resistant. The fact that Bitcoin and Ethereum are 1 and 2 by market cap, you can see the market values these properties.

The next evolution of this to me is censorship resistant ai compute. I have been an avid Claude user for a long time. Fable is the first model while very smart has so many guardrails. I think we are going to start to see a widening gap of open source models with no or little guardrails and closed source frontier models. Both will be smart but one will question or not do what you want and eventually could start reporting you.

Think models that can make a Harry Potter fan fic or other copy righted movie from a prompt. Claude, openai, google, aws, etc will not and cannot host these models. My wife just watched a 2.5 hour film of something similar from Ai.

While I think Ethereum will remain the default smart contract platform for coordination I am considering investment in the two most censorship resistant dePIN tokens that will be or could be shovels for decentralized ai compute. Arweave for storage and Akash for decentralized compute. Would love thoughts on this thesis, agreeing or disagreeing.

I bought a decent enough SOl when it was $5 each when I had a similar thesis (just trying to understand where the market was going) that ETH fees were too high and slow and that L2s were not ready. Which I sold all around 100 to 150 to buy more ETH. That was a crypto trend, an ai trend could incorporate a lot more people and hype.

Does the good of open access to AI models outweigh the bad of democratising the knowledge to make bioweapons?

Genuine question.

Automated invoice,

The request network envoys,

Blockchain is a choice.

~Daily haiku until we’re at least at 0.178 on the ETH/BTC ratio or highest market cap

That's why I try not to anchor too much on a specific upside target.

For ETH I've found it more useful to treat bullish/bearish/sideways as different regimes and let the same fixed rules react to what the market is actually doing. If the regime changes, the assumptions change with it.

Much easier for me than trying to decide whether the next narrative is the one that finally sends ETH back to ATH.

Ok, serious talk; what's the potential upside here?

Are we banking on CLARITY AND GENIUS and SEC?

Is there anything else seriously on the table for us to go back to ATH?

Widespread adoption. I got into Ethereum to build what I suppose you'd call decentralized social media, (I'm stretching the definition), and I still intend to.

There are delays. As it turns out, passion projects which are intentionally designed to use all off-the-shelf code can hit worse roadblocks than ones backed by VCs. Some parts of community building simply can't be faked.

Also, we are very near BMNR reaching 5 percent. We're about to see if anything happens when they do and if they will keep going.

I think it’s less of what could go right but more of what has gone wrong being lifted e.g. macro conditions, global wars and uncertainty, AI taking up less of the oxygen, less hyper-gamification ect.

Ethereum is crushing it. ETH will catch up.

Ethereum doesn't have support from any of big exchanges. They want their shit to pump with bitcoin. Easy whales target for manipulation. Until we have big whales to consistently market bid, I doubt Eth will ever catch up ratio. It's sad state of affairs

Find me the price and I’ll find you your narrative.

BTC to $1M would be a 12X

ETH can match or beat that

Saylor is issuing credit backed by BTC. US Treasury will follow. Bitmine will likely do the same with ETH. Watch Saylor's recent interviews if this doesn't make sense to you.

messy macro is a reason to own tier 1 crypto

3-6x from here is possible. Why? Narrative follows price.

My question right now is more if zcash has topped or if it’s just catching a breath and will teleport once more? My gut feeling is that it’s done, has been shilled everywhere, but since I don’t want to buy it anymore it’s likely going up and to 10k before ETH does.

Simply the upside of the M2 supply and diminishing the Hormuz disputes

i don't buy the Raoul Pal type of argument for crypto following M2.

ETH market cap is tiny compared to the liquidity floating about.

ETH has dropped more than 50% while M2 has increased and previously gone up 1000s of % while M2 stood still.

$300 bounty is already live with 4 contributors!

first submissions are pretty short and only cover portions of the book, but I have a feeling we'll have some longform submissions soon: https://poidh.xyz/mainnet/bounty/34
