Hi everyone, I’m a final-year electrical engineering student graduating in April 2027 and looking for a full-time job in Toronto/GTA starting in May.
I have 16 months of distribution planning co-op experience at a large Ontario utility, including CYME power system studies, protection coordination, capital planning, and writing technical documentation like scopes of work.
I’m interested in power systems roles with utilities, consulting firms, or equipment manufacturers. I’ve attached my anonymized resume; any job leads or employer suggestions would be appreciated!
Please feel free to reach out, thank you!

Hello, My son is currently looking into schools that have both gymnastics and engineering. The school he is accepted onto the team doesn’t have a full engineering program but a physics degree.
https://simpson.edu/academics-programs/all-programs/physics-engineering/
He wants to know, could he land an engineering job with that degree and/or be accepting into an engineering graduate program. He is mostly looking into mechanical. He is an excellent student 4.4+ GPA and 2/400 in his class.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ciao a tutti!
Grazie davvero a chi risponderà!
