I just found out about Dells Mills and thought it might be a fun little day trip on Saturday (from the Twin Cities), but, I'd want to combine a trip to the Mill museum with some fall photography. Trying to decide if I should go this weekend or next weekend. TY!

Really enjoyed their podcasts on Valleybrook and Joe Luginbill. Does anyone know if they are planning to put out any more series?

Thinking about writing up a fun piece on this very interesting representative before his election. Would love to hear the interesting things you know about the guy!
Provide sources if you can.

Is anyone else getting 2 to 3 DVO flyers a day?
It's not even the fact that they're all complete bs, or the fact that he's quoting "Facebook" as a source. Its the sheer amount of crap I'm getting in the mail telling me to vote for someone I absolutely hate.
Is there a way to make it stop? I get that it's a midterm year, but the actual volume that I'm getting daily is obnoxious, it's just a waste of paper as well.
Just venting! Thanks everyone. :)

hello i am a college student and i ride my bike all the time.
I have a road bike bike that’s very dear to me. I love all the trails and paved paths here but it is a road bike so i’d like to ride on the road because it feels better to me and i’d rather be in quiet car traffic in the country then on a shared path
Do you have recommendations of how to get from the water st district out to quiet country roads quickly? maybe a path and then getting on to a county hwy?
Side note bikes are getting stolen like crazy rn. i know of three that have been taken in the last five days. one of them was mine. One was a blue flip flop fixed gear and another fixie that was white but it had been seen since it was stolen and it is now spray painted red. the third stolen bike was a black Marin Gravel bike

I just moved back, used to live here for years from 2014 to 2020ish and visited here a lot before that. I had a solid group of good friends here before but nearly everyone has moved away. I’ve also been in and out of the hospital due to a serious (mostly) invisible chronic illness that sucks, I’ve had like 3 or 4 surgeries this summer, so that’s impacted my friend making opportunities.
I’m 31F. Into tattoos, writing, human rights, advocating for missing people. I love going to the joynt. I have a small black dog I take there and people adore her so much lol. Karaoke at scoots on Sundays is fun sometimes, I’d like to do that with people. Love Bloody Marys and going to Rays. I like going to Phoenix Park or Acoustic Cafe and just sitting and writing, sometimes ECDC.
Heck some of you may recognize me just from saying I bring my small black dog to the joynt haha. Feel free to say hi and make friends because ya girl is lonely.
PS. Not really looking to date currently, just ended a 2.5 year relationship before driving a thousand miles back here and still grieving that whole thing.

What's the best place to bring my rider this winter? Can be anywhere in the Chippewa Valley. Thanks everyone!

There isnt much more to the question than that lol. The tree in our yard that I would always climb started rotting and a bunch of branches have fallen off so it isnt super climbable anymore. Is it legal to climb a tree in a public park (obviously I wouldnt be damaging the tree by snapping any branches or anything)
Thanks! 🩵🦆
Edit: to clarify, I wouldn't be actively climbing from branch to branch all over the place. I just wanna find a comphy branch to sit in and then cross stitch for a couple hours lmao
