Everyone in super keeps looking younger and younger for no reason, Goku and Vegeta looked like they were in their 40s in the buu saga, and they looked so good. But in super they keep making Goku younger and younger. Why make chi chi look so boring and uninteresting? What's up with the laziness in her design? She is younger than, Goku, Vegeta, or Bulma. Yet they keep making her look the oldest.

What's with the bland hairstyle, there's a million bun, chignon etc hairstyle they could give her, but they give her the most bland one ever and intentionally keep nerfing her🫠

Bulma can have 70 different outfits and hairstyles a season, at least give chi one more!

They already took away any subtle Goku X chi chi moments more z in super anyways, I would at least hope this remake does it better...

Hi everyone! I was wondering if can show my artwork! My husband got me into dragon ball and so far I’m loving it :) also I know I’m going to get spoiled here and I’m okay with that lol. Anyways here’s Goku and nimbus and Goku and bulma 😂

Goku is one of the most popular live stream requests I've rendered on Etch A Sketch over the years!

I got this (new) as a birthday gift, some time ago! He’s been chillin with me ever since 😎

All my other dozens of figures, that I collected on my own in 2000, have not been opened

I made this puppet years ago and now I have space to show him off!

These are all from ~2000 and I’m not sure how to describe them in a way that distinguishes them from each other.

Maybe, for example; image 1: standard and mini, image 2: micro, image 3: giant and standard ¯_(ツ)_/¯

If anyone knows of common/official terms used when discussing the various sizes—other than having to specify their measure height (in/cm)—I’d appreciate you sharing!

Another one from my older COD WWII emblem collection, this time Perfect Cell.
Everything was built manually inside the emblem editor using basic shapes, stretched, rotated, and layered to get as close to the original reference as possible.
I did make one intentional change though. The original reference had Cell frowning, but I decided to give him a slight smirk instead. I always felt that smug, overly confident expression suited his personality better.
That’s one of my favorite things about making these. I treat each reference like a puzzle, figuring out how to recreate it with limited shapes while occasionally making little adjustments of my own.
What do you think? Does the smirk fit Cell better, or would you have kept the original expression?

Did some decluttering at my parents place and found childhood card collection from the 90s.

Maybe I’m stupid, or in the minority. But I enjoyed the TOP arc ( Goku unlocking the Omen ) etc etc… probably way more than the battle of the gods which I have already seen twice. It seems weird they would remake Super but leave out the TOP.
Does anyone else feel like this or just me?

they cut out all the reaction shots too

to make it easier to animate same thing applies to the arms and eyes, they reduced the number for ease of animation

a issue, the older product didt have

Many years ago I wrote a novel that for reasons Goku and Vegeta had their fight in the ToP arena during the End of Z Age. Somehow I thought the grand finale of their fight would not be a flashy burst of UI/UE, but the concentrated and highly efficient form of natural state Super Saiyan.

I had to edit in some mental training of Goku (00:50), because the intro of "Cha-La Head Cha-La" is a bit longer than "ONAGAMI".

I also tried with other openings, but this was a better fit.
