Aprtment corgi,
Does anyone have some insights about having an corgi in apartment? I got Viggo home on sunday ands its been pretty rough(but also very great!)
I need to get up a lot at night for taking him down to pee which is of course understandable. Do anyone know how many months before they start being able to sleep through?
Also, how did you bark train? He gets veet restless at night even after a day full of training and playing. Id love to be able to crate train more, but the barking does that i dont really feel i can do that (only daytimes at least)
I might just be asking for a bit of a timeline and some tips to make sure Viggo and i can find eachother quicker

Yay another corgy parent, I live in apartment. Nothing wrong. Just i dont have elevator, carry him more than 10 time up and down per day was so hard.
Use crate or play pen youll need when rest. Or teach him for bed , mine destroyer the bed. Now he is 1 year 3 month , he sleep with me in bed.
Doesnot take long like at 4-5 month he do his night but still you need wake up at 6 or 7 morning. Now he can hold till 12.
Mine do not bark unless i troll or play with him.

First of all, congratulations on your new baby 🥳 Mine slept through the night afrer a month or two, we also live in an apartment :) a lot of sleepless nights haha About barking I'd say each corgi is different. Mine barks only when I'm at home (alerting) while I'm out he doesn't bark at corridor sounds! Mine is crate trained but the crate stays open and he goes inside when he needs to rest Enjoy your new dog parent life !
