Disinfection Help Can a info stealer still be on my pc after reinstall
I got a info stealer a few days ago and changed my passwords and even did a windows reinstall reset I chose remove everything and I can’t remember if I chose local reinstall or a cloud download if I did local could the info stealer still be on my pc and if I did a cloud download can it still be on my pc.

better to do reinstall with usb to have peace of mind

If I don’t have a usb what should I do, can I also bring it into a shop or computer repair place and ask if they can check it out or help me?

An USB reinstall is the best option for a clean device.
However, in the case of most malware, a cloud reinstall with deleting all data (you might have to manually wipe drives) is also sufficient.

No. As long as you removed all files while doing the reinstall, it doesn’t matter how you reinstalled
