Question Does screen mirroring or screen sharing have a chance to infect my pc?

I was just curious to know because I would've like to watch movies/tv show from monitor and what I could do is screen mirroring my phone to my pc. Instead of using my pc directly. Even if I had any sort of adblock or anything in my phone and pc, would it still have the possibility to be infected?

I expect not though. Why would screen mirroring suddenly infect your PC?

You mean the website to watch movies? Just Any "illegal" websites, one that comes in my mind would be yflix.

Lowkey just scared I somehow infect it and I thought that was one of the way it could

You will be fine. You are just duplicating your phone screen onto your monitor. As long as you aren't connecting your phone to an infected device via data cable or downloading things that are made to infect your type of phone, there should be no issues.
