"Chuck, you're so sweet...", or how Agent Sarah Walker melted when she couldn't resist keeping her chocolate out of Bartowski's peanut butter.

My favorite quote of all the quotes in the entire series

“This from the agent (Walker) that can't keep her chocolate out of Bartowski's peanut butter.” – John Casey from “Chuck”

S2E3. Sarah’s feelings are a liability.

S2E9. Casey’s feelings are a liability. Sarah’s are not.

S2E18. Sarah’s feelings are mistaken as a liability but are finally understood to be an asset.

Lots of 'lady feelings' in season 2

Season 2 is a long exercise in recognition. Ellie sees it. Casey sees it. Carina sees it. The audience sees it. Sarah takes a little longer. 😉

The best part is that it's Carina of all people that sees it first

Arguably Casey, but Carina actually is the first to call Sarah out on it, for sure!

Carina, Casey and Ellie were all rather quick in seeing what was going on. But Carina called her out on it first

Interesting progression. The feelings remain remarkably consistent. What changes is how Sarah, Casey, and the CIA understand them. What first appears as a liability gradually comes to be recognized as an asset.

Some Sweet Facts.

By episode 1.4, Sarah thought Chuck was "sweet."

One refers to the other as "sweetie" in 1.8 and 2.4.

And she tells him he's sweet in 2.1, 2.2, 2.9 and 3.6.

After 3.14, it's pretty much a given!

I think he was the one putting his solid chocolate bar in her creamy peanut butter.

I can’t believe I didn’t watch this show until now. Honestly better writing than I was expecting

Wanted to quote Casey from the scene before although that came out very wrong.

Like that one Charles Carmichael quote.

No it's okay, it's probably my fault. Just wanted to post how in this scene Sarah wasn't really disproving Casey at all and got too a bit carried away with the title.

It is a reference to advertisements about Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

"You got your chocolate in my peanut butter!"

"You got your peanut butter in my chocolate!"

🎶 Two great tastes that taste great together🎵
