Chuck Versus the Lost Pilot - Anyone seen/have the '07 Comic Con Cut?

Apparently, an extended version of the Pilot episode was aired at Comic-Con 2007 (and even leaked on the internet before comic con!) before airing in September 2007. There were additional scenes and additional music, including "See the World" by Gomez during an extended scene on Chuck and Sarah's first date at the restaurant.

I've done a little bit of digging, but haven't seen it anywhere so far.
I do have the DVDs at home, so maybe some of those scenes are on the special features (just haven't checked..).

Has anyone ever seen the extended pilot episode, or know where copies of that might exist?
Or if you saw it live at CC '07, that would be a fun story!

I was at the first Comic-Con when they appeared in 2007 with my wife. She dragged me there because Adam Baldwin was in a new series.

Her all-time favorite show was Firefly so it made sense. In fact most of the people that were in the room were only there because they knew Adam Baldwin was in Firefly

Neither of us really knew what it was about but we got to see the pilot before it aired and they cut it down so it would air within an hour.

Unfortunately I don't know of anybody posting anything that included the show. There is some stuff out there with the cast talking about the show but that's about it

Hey wow! Didn't expect to have an '07 Comic-Con attendee actually pop in here!
Firefly is excellent as well, and it looks like it led you to being present at the birth of Chuck! Very cool.

Do you recall any additional scenes from the Comic-Con preview? Putting your 19-years-ago memory to the test!

Not really but it was a little bit longer. Josh and Chris attended along with the Zachary, Yvonne, Adam, Gomez, Sarah Lancaster and Ryan.

I remember standing in line to get into the room and there were so many people trying to get in that it was standing room only. We got a seat about three quarters of the way from the stage. The crowd loved the screening. When it came time for panel questions most of the questions were directed towards Adam because everyone knew him. They tried to get the rest of the cast involved in the discussion. I remember Zachary and Gomez getting crap from the rest of the panel because they wanted to talk about video games.

Chris and Josh talked about how they came up with the idea for the show and what they had planned for it. That was really interesting

That's really about it. But after that we attended attended every Comic Con and nerd HQ panel that involved the Chuck cast.

Ya making’ me jealous! I didn’t pick up the show until a major health crisis made me take a leave of absence in 2012, at which point I devoured every season available (1-4) on Blu-Ray.

Did the ideas and plans that Chris and Josh and mentioned end up in the show?

Their whole idea for the show was if you took Jack Bauer from the TV show 24 and Sydney Bristow from the show Alias and put them in the workplace of the Office what the hell would happen.

You know someone on the Office was going to get shot or killed or tortured. Hopefully Michael.

It's not much but they did it well with Casey and Sarah showing up in Chuck's life.

That's why you saw so many actors from the show Alias up here as guests on Chuck. Also Tony Todd was on 24.

I suppose you could also say if that Chuck and Sarah's relationship was similar to Jim and Pam's

The pilot is not lost. It's forgotten. All we need is a magical compass to bring it back.
