Troubleshooting | iOS How to Remove Ask Gemini from Chrome Mobile for iPhone

I successfully removed the Ask Gemini button from Chrome mobile for iPhone a couple months ago by accessing chrome://flags. The button is now present again and I can't remove it. Disabled all Gemini-related options on chrome://flags again. Does anyone know how I can remove the Ask Gemini feature?

Mine also reappears after a few months. Gemini flags don’t work for me. However, I’m able to remove it by disabling the ChromeNextIA (not AI) flag again. I feel like the flag just got reset to default yesterday. (Edit: It's IOS version 155.0.8059.37 if that matters)

The Ask Gemini reappeared today

I just used this tip from two months ago to banish the Ask Gemini bar again

Basically type

chrome://flags/#chrome-next-ia

In the chrome search bar.  Don’t press enter.   Select the search result that appears

Then disable it. 

Restart the chrome iOS app

Flags are temporary. If it's not in regular settings, you can't permanently remove it. You're just postponing it with flags.
