RIP RJ Mitte
May Walter Junior enjoy his breakfast in paradise. He was a phenomenal actor and I'm going to miss him. And please hug your loved ones and whoever you love, tour friends and family. You dont know what theyre dealing with.

What do you mean, not receiving residual checks? Is that not how all actors are paid for reruns?

Residual checks are royalties for actors – much like musicians get paid for streaming.
If Residual checks aren’t included in the original contract the actor is not entitled to receive any. Aaron and Bryan didn’t have any right for any royalties but they managed to get a deal for residuals after the show was over – Mitte was not included in that deal.

That’s not true.
No one was paid residuals when Netflix took it on. Netflix can play it AS much as they like and there ain’t a single penny in residuals to be paid as that purchase was from Sony and only Sony got paid. The actors didn’t receive any residuals for it.
AP and BC have mentioned this many times over..

Plus didn't his manager steal his money?

Yes, that is true.
I feel like the work dried up and he was struggling to find any; the lack of income and having to find work as a disabled person brought him to a dark place – wish he had a better support system, and he had more acting gigs.
No doubt if he was working he would still be here right now. Very sad situation that could have been prevented.

Unfortunately with most suicides they can be prevented. He was engaged too. I feel a lot of young actors hit their highs at such a young age it's hard for them to adjust as adults. For him to be on the greatest show of pretty much all time and be that young is such a blessing and curse. Then he sees Bryan and all them go onto big things well he kinda faded (don't mean that in a mean way) has to be tough. He was so much more than just Walt jr. he was such an inspiration for people with disabilities. This one shook me hard. I didn't realize he was so young.

He was a brilliant actor. I don’t think I can watch the show in the same way anymore knowing this young man was struggling in his real life. Everybody else from the show was getting new acting roles whilst he was struggling to find anything – All this was in his mind and he couldn’t take it anymore.
BB makes a lot of money; It is the most popular tv series of all time – enough money is made from it to give everyone that worked on it their fair share, but greed is a real problem in this world.

Yeah being that young and green he probably didn't have a good agent plus he didn't have name value. The show really didn't take off till season 4 as well I believe. They were season to season to see if they'd get cancelled. But Bryan and the cast were still close to him, but I am sure as time goes on that kinda fades. Plus being boxed in is huge in Hollywood m, how many roles could he have honestly played outside the guy with a disability as brutal as that sounds. I am sure it all took a toll over time.

It was his accountant. Not business manager.
He was sending her his money to pay taxes. She was keeping it and sending him fake tax invoice payment receipts.
He basically paid taxes twice.
What I don’t understand is how he didn’t sue the shit out of her and claw it all back

I'm sure that money was gone. People who do that are very good at hiding the money they are stealing.

He would have had a trail of the money being sent to her. The money stops at her. It would have left his account and went somewhere. The fact it didn’t get to its intended payee should have been enough.
But something went wrong for him to not get his money back.
But it’s wild that that’s even the case!
Goes to show that where money is involved you need to be absolutely trusting of that person to handle your affairs. Anyone can fuck you over for money..

Wow, I was caught completely blindsided by this. Haven't even seen any of the other actors talking about it. Rest in peace
