I don't usually care about celebrity deaths, but this one is hitting me pretty hard.

without a doubt. his story was (and will always be) incredible. 34 is just far too young, but his memory will live forever. RIP

This young man took his real self and personal health, brought it to the big screen in one of the best series on TV and brought us art. Damn.

u/BtheBanker151 7h ago
His disease was much milder. He used crutches and slowed his speech down for the show.

u/ChemistVegetable7504 7h ago
Yes! I remember him saying this in an interview, he does have CP in real life but played it more seriously for his role in Breaking Bad.

What the fuck. His interviews have been popping up on Insta the last couple of weeks, probably because I've been doing a BB marathon.... I'm genuinely staggered

u/Oddball1993 8h ago
And he was so young…poor guy.
It just goes to show we all have our own struggles, no matter how good we may look like we have it.
May he Rest In Peace. :(

Just read an article yesterday about how he thought the white family wouldn't be in a good place after the end of breaking bad. Fucking sucks man.

I’m just so very sad. You don’t know what someone is going through and it just seemed like things were going well for him except for that accountant problem. May he RIP. So awful

Call your friends and tell them how important they are.
To anyone that needs to hear it right now, you freaking matter, so much. Even if you feel like you dont... you do. The world is better with you in it and we need you.

This really hurts. Remember to check in on your friends, especially if they’re going through a tough time.

So sad man. I fucking hate suicide. I understand it. But gee. Mental health is so important and us dudes don't like talking about it. Needs to change.

u/RunningFromSatan 4h ago
I have been going through some tough times myself - I feel like when it rains it pours among the fact I'm coming to grips I'm turning 40 years old next week. A buddy of mine went hiking with me on Friday and honestly just getting me out of the house rejuvenated me in a time where work and life are beating me down. It was a beautiful day and I want to become more active. I just kinda told him I was feeling weird and he said it'll be ok. All the rest was between the lines. It just like, stopped the momentum of bad thoughts. I don't know really how else to explain it. A 5 hour hike, a conversation, a hello...anything can help.
•
u/fedesiete 3h ago
Absolutely man. Need to get out of the house, that’s something I always remind myself to do. Always.

I saw on another post that his manager basically took all his money maybe more, making him broke. Can someone verify this? I'm not getting a reply back there. and is the manager rotting in jaIl serving a life sentence for the one life he took?
•
u/DreamsTyme 2h ago
I can share a TikTok of him talking about it but yes his business manager stole his BB earnings bc RJ gave the manager $$$ for taxes but the manager gave fake tax statements to RJ and he had to pay it all back to the IRS. But no, the manager is “around” according to RJ in the interview
•
•
u/Sector2117 1h ago
She not only ran away with his money, but he also had to pay back the IRS WITH INTEREST and it cost him more than he made with Breaking Bad. (He made like $240K from BB, and had to pay the IRS around $350K)
•
u/DreamsTyme 1h ago
He mentioned something about 17% interest for every year he didn’t pay :( I can’t believe she didn’t get in any legal trouble
•
u/Sea-Area9605 26m ago
No she was never charged. He gave her money to pay his taxes and she didn’t actually pay his taxes. So not only did she take money from him. He also had to pay the back taxes plus interest meaning he lost money from being on breaking bad. It’s really fucked up. But let’s not get this twisted. You cannot say she’s the reason for him ending his life. He was an advocate for people with disabilities and made a name for himself long after this event. And he even proposed to his girlfriend in 2025. Sometimes you just don’t know what a person is going through. And it’s not fair to blame his manager entirely for what he ended up doing. Maybe she played a part but there was definitely other stuff going on

What happened?
7
u/saul_63_ 8h ago
Self inflicted.

u/Jijimuge8 7h ago
You mean suicide
1
u/__Tonald__Dump__ 7h ago
??? That’s the same thing
-2
u/Jijimuge8 7h ago
Not necessarily
•
u/hewasaraverboy 5h ago
How is it not the same thing? Genuine question
•
u/silence2087 4h ago
You can kill yourself accidentally. Not considered suicide.
•
u/hewasaraverboy 4h ago
Wouldn’t that just be accidental suicide?
•
u/BradyToMoss1281 4h ago
Suicide is intentional by definition. Just like hitting someone you don’t see with your car isn’t accidental murder. If it’s not intentional, by definition it isn’t murder.
•
u/hewasaraverboy 4h ago
Okay fair enough
But the reports so far are that it was suicide
But also let’s say you OD after doing a bunch of drugs: some might say suicide some might just say OD accident

What’s a hoax? The alleged cause or the death? Major news networks are reports it. BBC and TMZ are reporting his death.

Suicide apparently
1
u/gumdrop1801 8h ago
Seriously?
4
u/Oh__Archie 8h ago
I wish they hadn't reported that. They usually don't but apparently it's what happened.
1
u/PM_ME_BATMAN_PORN 8h ago
Seriously sucks for the family, your loved one does something so tragic and then the whole world knows. I don't think we should hide suicide and pretend it never happens, but this is rough when it's reported on so immediately. I can't imagine what they must be going through, some people are seriously cruel about suicide victims.

Mental health guys, please suicide is not the optimal choice. Seek help
2
u/Jijimuge8 7h ago
Usually when we do seek help there isn’t any or there are major barriers to it. Despite family caring deeply they often find mental health too inconvenient to really be able to see how to help a person.

Sincerely, you are a bad person. He was part of this shared universe and for that to be your only response, I can't really find the words. Don't bother responding.

I loved him on the show but especially in real life in all his press events for BB. He was such a joyful person and was just so thrilled to be a part of it all.
