Of course! Just like construction equipment and big military vehicles. Even helicopters and airplanes have wipers.

I know, I am saying the older Unseen LAMs are more LAM like than the newer ones... the Waneta is like... a badly drawn one... although, most LAMs do have the cockpit moved to unfortunate areas.

Only the canopy, really - the cockpit's still in the head of the LAM. I always figured it was like a sliding system where the MechWarrior sits in the head, as normal, and the canopy slides around them. It's mostly sensors, anyway, so they don't need to really look around.

But also, yes, the Spectral LAMs are just ugly.
