Hi everyone,
I'm a fresher, and as an aviation enthusiast, I am interested in starting a Bath Aviation Society when time allows. I was thinking we could organise aviation quiz nights, monthly plane spotting trips to Heathrow, film nights, and more! Whether you are passionate about aviation like I am, just curious to learn more, or thinking about a career in the aviation or a similar industry, I think this would be a great society to form!
If you would be interested in helping me run this society, please hit me up, and if possible, we could meet up some time on campus to discuss some options and ideas. My dm's are always open, and I would love to connect with some fellow aviation enthusiasts! If you know anyone else interested in aviation, please forward this to them as well.
Thanks!

Hey guys, I am probably going to uni of bath foundation year for mechanical engineering, does anybody have any experience whatsoever as to how hard the foundation year is and what sort of modules and work is done there.

Heyyy so the accommodations have been sent out and I got into aquila court. Had anyone else been offered it. I like how modern it is but I was wondering how others experience has been in terms of the social life and travelling to uni as it is not on campus so I am a bit worried that I am missing out in a way.

If anyone’s interested drop wtvr accom you’ve been assigned and we can figure it out. To clarify, I’ve been assigned John wood court, not looking for it.

Hi, I'm a Year 13 student currently waiting for my A-level results (in about two and a half weeks).
I didn't perform as well as I could have in Year 12, so my predicted grades weren't strong enough to apply to Bath initially. However, after sitting my exams, I'm expecting around A*AB - AAB (based on unofficial mark schemes, so I understand this could change).
The main concern is that I'm likely to get a B in Maths, while I'm expecting an A* in business and an A in Economics.
I wanted to ask if anyone has managed to get into Economics or Finance-related courses at Bath with a B in maths or if that would realistically be a dealbreaker.
I'm trying to figure out my options ahead of results day, as I may need to consider alternatives like applying for a Business course with a placement year and then moving into finance that way.
Any advice, experiences, or insights would be really appreciated — thank you!
The courses I was looking at going into were
Accounting & Finance or Economics with Politics or straight Finance.

Is there any group chat for Uni of Bath postgraduates joining this September? I'd love to join. If not I'm happy to create one for other master's students also starting this September.
I'm starting my master's in forensic psychology at the University of Bath and moving to the city in the second week of September, so if anyone wants to join/create a group chat on any platform, and wants to find other similar students message me

Hey! Thought it would be useful to make a dedicated page for Bath University so that people don’t need to use the r/Bath subreddit anymore!
