That looks like a burn. He must have touched a surface that was too hot or touched a heat bulb, or sat too close to a UVB bulb for too long. Do you have a pic of your tank?
I’m not home rn and don’t have a pic unfortunately but it’s a 50 gallon terrarium with a heating pad on the outside under his log that is set to 92°. I don’t have any bulbs so I’m not sure how it would’ve burned? The only other thing I could think of is he did have some stuck shed I had to soak him for 10 min so maybe he scratched that spot trying to rub shed off?
