Political Question Are federal agents raiding Ilhan Omar and example of political persecution ? Why is the government specifically targeting and double guessing her paper work after 20 years?

Why are Americans letting this happen? It feels like the country is falling apart.

It is literally about her immigration status that was filled by her dad when she was 8 years old.

well it's unrelated to her tax filings. it is related to her father's immigration application in the 1990s. which they still have on file at DHS, they're trying to find something in Omar's home that shows evidence her father lied on the application.

She does have to worry because the people who lie about everything (like you) and obviously want her deported are in charge of everything and have no ethics. Luckily there are still some impartial judges, but once they get rid of those we're basically Russia at best and North Korea at worst.

right so prior to this raid it was he said/she said, and the burden of proof is on the accuser. not sure what they're hoping to find. but the government can't go into court and be like "he liedddddddd" and that's it

I wouldn’t go that far, but if I were to see compelling evidence that it’s true I’d be willing to accept it. I just haven’t seen any compelling evidence despite repeatedly asking for it in this thread.
