Arma 3 I made a free browser tool that turns any 3D model into a working Arma 3 mod, plus a Building Builder for walkable houses. Looking for testers.
Hey all,
I’ve been building ArmaForge (https://armaforge.com), a free web tool for getting your own objects into Arma 3 without Arma 3 Tools, Object Builder or a P: drive. It all runs in your browser, and your files never leave your PC.
What it does right now:
- 3D model → Arma mod: Drop in an OBJ, FBX, glTF/GLB or STL and download a ready-to-play mod folder with a packed PBO. It sets up LODs, shadow, collision shaped to the model, walkable surfaces, textures (PAA) and the config for you.
- Building Builder: Draw a building on a grid: rooms, inside walls, doors, windows, firing slits, stairs, balconies, ladders, several floors, and flat or pitched roofs. You get:
- Doors that open and close.
- Glass in windows.
- Floors, stairs, balconies and roofs you can walk on.
- AI that walk inside: they open doors, climb stairs and take positions at windows.
- Templates: houses, a shop, an apartment block, a villa, barracks, a guard tower, a bunker, a checkpoint hut and a lookout post.
- Multi-object mods: Bundle several objects into one mod, and sign PBOs for servers that check signatures.
- Tutorial with screenshots and videos: https://armaforge.com/tutorial
What I’m looking for:
- Try it with your own models and buildings and tell me what breaks.
- Anything that looks wrong in game: invisible faces, wrong scale, collision problems, AI behavior in buildings, textures.
- Features you’d want next.
- Any confusing parts of the UI or the tutorial.
Known limits:
- Models aren’t binarized, so very detailed ones load slower. The “Source files” export lets you rebuild them with Addon Builder if needed.
- It’s new, so expect rough edges.
If something doesn’t work, a screenshot plus the model or building settings helps a lot. Comment here or DM me.
Thanks for testing!
