Help with a Tempest cabinet
A buddy of mine picked up an og tempest cab but all he gets is a line on the screen. Would that be the crt itself or the board ?

Hello good people.
I found a Capcom Legacy Edition cabinet on Facebook for 200. I managed to bring it down to 100 due to it having a cracked screen. I found a replacement monitor on arcademodup.com for a pretty good price so I'm not concerned about the monitor issue.
I've seen reviews about the control deck being awful and the monitor itself being at slant giving it a line of sight issue for taller people.
Is there any way to fix the line of sight issue? And would I be able to replace the control deck with something similar to a TMNT or Simpsons type of control deck? If that makes sense, haha.
I think the cab is a steal, but I also don't wanna regret buying it if I can't mod the way I want too.
I missed my chance at getting an X-men vs Street Fighter cab for 175 today. Big Sad. That cab looked sick and has great reviews.

So far I’ve paid three parts documenting the process of building their head cabinet from scratch here in the next couple weeks. I should be completely done.

I’m almost done with cutting wood. I’ve cut so much wood.
I thought I was going to be priming and painting a week ago, but I am still cutting wood. Tomorrow I will continue to cut Wood. Only this time we’re doing more finishing cuts, which are scarier on thinner, nicer pieces of wood. I have become a woodsman. I would like to go back to playing Pac-Man on a wide format that no one liked. But I am continuing to cut Wood.

I'll be in Japan next year and wanted to snag some arcade boards while there, I figure they may be cheaper in country than having them shipped, I'll be in the Tokyo area, are there any shops, stores, or companies that sell Arcade boards in the area? Looking for Capcom CPS2 boards mostly for their fighters, and some SNK carts.

Ikari Warriors, known as Ikari[a] in Japan, is a 1986 run and gun video game developed and published by SNK for arcades. It was released in North America by Tradewest. Amongst the numerous Commando clones on the market, Ikari Warriors was distinguished by its unique control style with rotary joysticks and a two-player cooperative mode.[13] The rotary joystick controls were in turn based on SNK's earlier TNK III (1985). Ikari was originally intended to be an official licensed adaptation of the film Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), but SNK were initially unable to acquire the rights to the film.

The PCB is included but it's not connected. I'm sure it needs work. How rare is this arcade and how much can I get for it as is? It does seem to turn on the CRT, but like I said, PCB not connected.

Really cool game was just installed at my local arcade, I was able to figure out most mechanics through trial and error, but there's others that I have no clue! There's no instructions anywhere, the game company listed on the side doesn't even have it on their website. Plus reverse image search turned up nothing.
I would believe this game popped up from an alternative universe! If anyone has any ideas about it, whether its how to play or otherwise.
Name: Galactic Gazilionaires
Company name: Unis Technology

Good evening,
I'm in the middle of designing my next project. I'm going to utilize a total of 22 buttons, 2 joysticks with hollow shafts, and a track ball. I can't decide if I wanna go the ipac ultimate with ledblinky or rpeg route. I've read rpeg can't controll trackball directly so the color sync would be off. Anyone have experience with both that could steer me in the right direction?

Final touches to the Robotron machine!
I got the light kit installed in the doors as well as the 25 cent inserts. Also, found a great place for the magnetic beer holder! r/robotron2084

It’s starting to come together. Routing for the T molding was way harder than I thought and the T molding I bought off Amazon seems to be a little cheaper than what I’d like.
