Mac Erased Mac user account as forgot password but now can’t get in

Hello I don’t have an Ethernet adaptor so I can’t get onto the internet and the WiFi menu isn’t showing. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Have you tried clicking on the top right corner to get the WiFi network option? On mine a couple of days ago it was greyed out but still clickable if you hovered over it on this screen

ive seen this too where it looks disabled but you can still click it and pick a network

The WiFi selection is usually on the previous page. Restart it.

Check the top corner for a WiFi symbol and click it to pull up the WiFi select menu. Try and turning it off and back on and pull the power cord and wait 10 seconds if it’s an iMac and plug it back in and turn it on. The WiFi select menu should show during the setup process. You can also try and boot into internet recovery just to see if WiFi is working or also try booting into safe mode. The internet recovery step is just to confirm that your WiFi hardware is working properly.
