Finished a Amazon interview loop and finally got the job 😭

I wrote this when I was genuinely hurt after missing out on a role I really wanted. I remember how disappointing it felt, how much I questioned things, and how uncertain everything seemed at the time.
Now, I’m signing an offer letter for a role I’ve always wanted.
Funny how life works. The version of me who wrote this had no idea how things would eventually turn out.
If you’re going through something similar, keep going. One disappointment doesn’t mean your story is over.

Congrat, as a ex-Amazonian I totally understand your happiness. In the same time I want to warn you . Grass may not be greener on other side . Especially depending on your level. If you are L4-L6 it is much easier . L7 and L8 are much harder to adjust

congrats I have my on-site tmr. But I am not confident about it since it is literally the first ever interview for me

Dude, I went through something similar about a month ago. I interviewed for an L6 position(2-3 months of prep), completed all five rounds of the interview loop, and walked away feeling genuinely confident. The feedback during the interviews was really positive, and for the first time, I honestly thought I had secured the offer.
Then, out of nowhere, I received an automated rejection email. No explanation, no feedback, nothing. I reached out to the recruiter and the team, but nobody responded.
The rejection itself hurt, but what bothered me most was the complete silence after investing so much time and effort into five rounds. I still have no idea what went wrong or what I could have done differently. That's honestly the most frustrating part of the whole experience.

Congratulations, happy for you!
I also have amazon interview loop in the coming week, what kind of questions should i expect? Is it more like technical or behavioural or mix of both?
Also, any pointers that can help me in preparation.

Congrats OP! Honestly I am going though the same thing. Got rejected from my amazon loop last month, and i felt hopeless, but i was able identify my shortcomings and started getting better. I can easily say that the last 1 month was the most productive and usual month in my last 2 years.
Well yeah i lost my amazon opportunites for the next one year. But i was able to see the holes in my knowledge.
Congrats again op, post like this are what gives people like us motivation to push forward.
Additionally, just wanted to clarify, how were you able to apply again within an year?

Depends, if may employers kang matagal magverify ng employment mo and if kumpleto mga docs na nasubmit mo. It may take more or less 3weeks

How do you answer theoretical or what if questions without star method but stay precise on answering question quickly and effectively. During my 1st interview for a Systems Engineer they asked me how id design a 4 way intersection. Being the engineer i am i went into detail but was prob way more than i needed to
