Ask the Aggies Master’s student withdrawal from courses = withdrawal from university?

I’m a master’s student but I’ve been very sick and was hospitalized which threw my semester off. I decided to take the semester off but to do so I needed to withdraw from the university. Am I still able to enroll next semester?

Ask the Aggies Alternatives to mays

Howdy, I am a prospective transfer student and I have been looking into different options outside of mays because of the sheer difficulty in transferring to mays. Some of the options that I have looked into that are business adjacent include ag business, sports management and Econ. If anyone has any recommendations or is in one of these majors and can offer me any help I would appreciate it very much. Gig em!

My mom got me this scooter for work but it turns out I don’t need it (I have other ways to get home like bus and friends) and it’s been sitting under my bed unopened, if you know anyone who wants a scooter for like 130 please tell them it’s an eyesore in my room 😭

Ask the Aggies Need help finding photo taken at the Arkansas Game!

Hello, I'm trying to find a specific photo that was taken of us from the recent game against Arkansas. I have been hoping it would show up on social media somewhere, but it hasn't surfaced.
I've checked the Corp's Flickr page, tagged accounts, and photographers for the school and school paper, but nothing.
I believe we were sitting in the first deck, row/seats 136? There was a girl who took our picture (blonde?) and had a clear plastic poncho on; it's of me and someone holding up the Arkansas mascot plush on a leash, and it's super cute. I'm hoping to find it for him.
Not sure if anyone here will be able to help, but it would be really great if I could get ahold of that photo, please. Thank you!

Shitposting/Memes Corp girl who lied about being pepper sprayed was arrested

Didn’t want to post until I had it confirmed by someone who knew her. Although it’s all public information, I won’t drop her name here, but I did see her picture on SayCheese Brazos County Mugshots Facebook page. She has been arrested for giving false statements to the police.

From what I understand, she basically did it to herself and the original suspect was her ex boyfriend. Take that how you will, I have my assumptions on why.

Edit: I looked her up in the directory and it seems she’s still enrolled

Venting How to manage Junior year ELEN

Howdy Ags. I am currently a junior in ELEN and I was wondering how to deal with all of the classes. I get so easily stressed and I just feel so overwhelmed with things. Everyday, there's just so much content, more exams to study for and what not. Any past ELEN majors/engineering majors that can drop some advice?

Other BICH 410 best study method

What are the best study methods for earning an A in this class? Specifically:

  1. What step-by-step study strategies do you recommend, and which ones do you think help the most?
  2. What should I do after each lecture to retain the material?
  3. How should I use SI (Supplemental Instruction) and LAs (learning assistants), and when should I go to them?

Ask the Aggies Has anyone seen a set of gold hooped earrings?

On October 10th during ring day, I lost my set of thin golden hooped earrings that are medium to big in size. I was parked at west campus garage and walked under the tunnel to get to reed arena, and finally went into Aggie park for the ceremony. When I was in Aggie park I noticed they were gone. I retraced my steps that day and the days after but have found nothing. I have also checked the MSC lost and found but nothing has shown up yet. If anyone has any information please let me know. They were gifted to me by a late family member, and I just really want to find them.

Opportunities Seeking Language Exchange

Howdy y'all,

With such a diverse community of Aggies on and off campus from across the world, I am surprised there isn't a well-advertised group, page, organization, etc. for language exchange. I currently pay for a tutor online M/W/F every week for Spanish, but would love something local as well. I know visiting Bryan and the various Hispanic restaurnts/food trucks/stores is an option, and I do that from time to time, but I was looking for an actual language exchange group or just some Aggies who love their language and want to share with others, not even just Spanish. Does anyone have information that I am missing? Keep it helpful for future Aggies who have a similar desire. With so many people from across the world, surely there is something!

T's&G's, y'all!

Ask the Aggies Tailgate advice

Hi All,

Coming to the Tennessee v Texas A&M game in November. Showing up with a group of 8 guys and trying to figure out the best way to tailgate and get a feel for the atmosphere before the game.

Do people feel like the best way to tailgate is to rent a tent and get chairs/food etc and hangout before the game (found a service that will set us up in advance with beer/food etc)? Or is it just as fun/doable to go nomad and just walk around the lot and check out different spots?

So pumped to come to the game and want to make sure we’re prepared in advance!! Thanks for any thoughts.
