Never did a double take so fast in my entire life

I wanted to ask the community, if Blizz were to break the 10-year gap of no new tank, what would you like that tank to play/look like?

From the current line, I personally would like a hunter tank. It sounds strange but imagine your one pet
stands right in front of you shielding and mitigating damage while you use a 2H
staff to stab the enemy. You could make this a whole new gameplay style of
positioning and mitigation balance between you and your pet.

Of course a brand new class with three subclasses would be the best. I do feel like wow really lacks
content when it comes to new classes... That said the team at Blizz have always
been quite creative, so I bet they could come up with something unique. In the
meantime, I wanted to ask you what your expectations or requests would be.

Here's my brief concept for playable Amani.

The Orc rig would be to make them stand out more from Darkspear and Zandalari, while hopefully making gear fit easier for devs.

Racials should be tweaked further obviously, but I hope the fantasy of a troll headhunter / berserker comes across.

Starting Hunter pet could be a Lynx and Druid shapes could be inspired by their Bear, Lynx and Eagle loas.

Still sad and bitter that Blizz straight up confirmed they wont be included, but one can dream..

A friend commissioned me to paint their undead paladin, so I had him cast Blessing of Might :)

The colors here are my favorite part, I was trying to add a kind of sickly quality to the Light he was using.

Which one of you "Auction gamers" decided it was a good idea to buy 300k Royal Roasts? Spet 24 they were around 17 gold/unit, which was fair (this was the last batch I sold at), I was making decent money selling food, (costs me less than 1g/unit to make since meat and plant is absurdly abundant).

Then on Sept 25 in your infinite wisdom you bought in at what I assume was 17-20g/unit, cause you sure as the Maw didn't make it all since all the Roasts suddenly vanished then reappeared at 20g. And then proceeded to tank the price because for what ever wallstreet brain rot reason you thought you could corner the market on an item most people make for "free" to sell at a total profit.

Its Oct12 and you are still trying to offload 200k units at 9g/unit. You belong over at Wallstreetbets. People will continue to undercut you because there are 30k+ units at 8g. I am almost positive you are continuing to buy anything below 9g and repost it because the amount at 9g keeps going up by 10-20k every few minutes. And then people undercut you and you buy them back up, and then people undercut you and you buy them up. Which would be a valid strat IF the item in question was uncommon or rare or hard to obtain, but... as I stated, its practically free to make so you'll always be undercut since any profit over 1g is profit.

I'm not even mad, I'm just astounded at your ineptitude.

UPDATE: As I am writing this it seems you are in panic mode? You've split your 200k+ auction into 500 unit groups and posted them in descending costs in 8g98c, 8g97c etc.

UPDATE2: My guy whatever automatic auction bot you got going is going to ruin you. You are in the 7g range now.

Cause honestly we're probably not gonna get a remix of certain expansions. So i'd love to see instead of them being ignored, we find alternative ways of getting those old rewards brought back.

Repairs for my character are an enormous amount, the game is trying to charge me 150k+ to repair. You may think this is just a UI bug, or an addon, but it's real. Before this screenshot, I died a few times, and without really thinking about it I clicked repair all items and just at the last split second I noticed it said 30k+ to repair - and it actually took it from my money. When I tried to click repair on the above screenshot, it gave me the game error in red in the middle of my screen like "you cannot afford that". The only way I can fix it is to reload my UI, and then if I die again my repair after one wipe will be like 3,000g. The highest it got up to tonight was 200k+ at 30% durability. Be very careful of this bug, I can repeat it easily - I have no way to avoid it during raid. YES IT TAKES THE FULL MONEY YOU SEE IF I CLICK REPAIR, IT IS NOT JUST A VISUAL BUG.

EDIT: I did not do any spirit res mechanic, I am inside the Venomous Abyss, wiping over and over to heroic Ula’tek. I barely have any items in my bag, and definitely not a lot of gear. The bug appears to be probably somehow isolated to my chest piece, which I got from the vault and is 6/6 myth level. All the other gear seems to have a normal repair amount, but that item goes straight through the stratosphere on repairs even after one death.

Early in the PTR, mythic dropped 344 (9/6), but blizz nerfed that to 3/6 a few weeks ago. The only three reasons now to do mythic are for the achievement, extra chances at the cosmetics and the paladin glyph. If you only care about the new cantrip gear, there is no point in doing mythic kith'ix. You can save yourself a ton of sanity and time by just bonus rolling heroic for a few weeks and get the same gear, but with 2 less upgrades on it. The crest cap will be removed on the 20th so that isn't really a big deal.

Title says it all. Being recently returning to WoW and try to enjoy Retail for some bit. Tried to roll a Void Elf Death Knight this time.. Seems Im completely out of the game, but the learning curve is alright. Did some BG's and Dungeons, try to level my way up through quests. So far so good..

Transmog prices... gawddamn.. Insane..

Somehow any comp i try takes forever to kill him and it's overall such a terrible boss fight

We've never played wow and realistically we might play 2-3 times a week for an hour or 2. We will probably never play pvp.

I'm just wondering which version would be better? From what I can see online classic/forever has a great leveling feeling that feels rewarding. But its very slow, if we only have a few hours to play would this be too little to feel like were sctually progressing?

Also there doesn't appear to be dungueon finder/queue in classic which could be a pain.

Retail seems to have faster but less rewarding leveling? But does have a dungeon finder.

I guess I'm just wondering what people's experiences are. We just kinda wanna explore and kill stuff and level. Classic/forever seems great for that but worried it could be too slow for how much time we can commit.

Hi it's me again,

I posted a couple days ago asking for everyone's thoughts on which addons they wished still existed or need a modern replacement. First, thank you everyone for all the comments, ideas and just good vibes. I didn't expect as much feedback, but I enjoyed it.

Few things that stood out:

1. Everyone misses WeakAuras - Unfortunately, there's no way to bring it back in the way people would like.

2. MSBT - Same as WA. It can be made to work, but not in the way anyone would remember and there is a Midnight version for people that want to try it. MSBT(Midnight)

From all of the replies, one idea stuck out from u/petrov76: “Something that provides a better interface to the list of collectible items (toys, mounts, pets).” Here’s a rough draft I threw together, and I'd like to hear from everyone, including the folks who’d say no.

It's a concept preview, not a released addon, and I might never build it. It looks at your overall collection, gold, quest progress and lockouts. No luck needed means a vendor purchase or a quest chain. Chance is a drop with no active lockout. These five come from a quick list I put together, and my account is missing at least 3,158. Drop rates and time estimates are kinda difficult and probably wouldn't be accurate.

So the questions:

1. Would you install this? Yes, no or maybe, and what would make it a no or maybe?
