So I’m pretty sure that when I ran my first load of laundry here I left one of my t-shirts behind. It’s been a couple weeks now so I’m not hopeful it can still be found but I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to try to locate it? I considered leaving a note in the laundry room but then thought that probably wouldn’t be allowed, and I don’t know what else there is that I can do. Is there like a lost and found or something?

This is me in my Kappa dorm with my books. I brang a lot of books to my dorm because I knew that I will want to read most of these in ny free time because I am studying lots of Japanese and linguistics.

Some of these books I got from the wilson library and some I got also were for experimental purposes for myself such as the quartet book, to justify and research linguistics in the textbooks

Because I have JLPT and Kanji Kentei soon i’ve been a little behind on my reading. I’ll get back to it soon. I focus more on the books on the bottom atm.

Its been almost a month since the new school year started and most of us freshman (me!) and upperclassmen are getting used to our dorm.

I live in the Kappa dorms. I myself am in a solo room, and I am LOVING IT. I like having full control over my schedule, watching my videos and studying. Plus I love to design my dorm and set everything up so I can use it without having a roommate harass me about it. I don’t regret it a single bit

Now to those in dorms w roommates, What I wonder is how is it like, and did anything funny or memorable happened? I hear a lot of loud stuff from my dorm room and I haven’t seen too much what else is happening so go lemme know what its like.

My sister (not in wwu) a few days ago walked into her dorm room and saw her roommate do it with someone else. (Not lying)

For all the incoming newly 21 year olds and those with fakes stop going to schwein. I guess that atmosphere is cool but for God's sake support a business that is less shady and not owned by a literal fascist. Brandon is a outspoken transphobic, homophobic, racist Trump supporter. Here are some of the numerous scandals that have faced schweinhaus that I know of. (I'm sure there are more)

-three seperate cases of managment steeling tips from employees

-Brandon being quoted saying "trans people shouldn't exist"

-Emily the manager frequently misrepresenting prices so she can charge people more

-Brandon setting up a contract for drag brunches during pride month and then going against his contract as soon as pride month ended because he had enough of "that gay shit"

-Brandon literally has like 5 felony charges looming over his head right now from another business he owned/scammed in Issaquah

All of these can be verified through news articles that can be found online or from first hand accounts of ex employees either on fb or old reddit threads on the bellingham subreddit. The people running this place (Emily and Brandon) are literal scum of the earth humans and they don't deserve your business. Go to state street, go to the cabin, go to ranch room there's so many other better bars. Also they're literally the most expensive bar in town. How tf are college kids paying for those $11 beers lmao.
