Issue with PulseAudio Install Ubuntu 26.04 Hyper-V

I am trying to install using this Bing Search for Hyper-V No Sound

When I get to /bootstrap && ./configure PULSE_DIR=~/pulseaudio.src - it comes back and says it cannot find pulseaudio.src. I checked and it does not exist. So I'm not sure why this file is missing

c thing is usually because you skipped a step somewhere. the bootstrap and configure needs to run inside the actual pulseaudio source directory, not just anywhere

you cloned the repo or downloaded the tarball first? that pulseaudio.src dir gets created when you extract it, so if you're trying to configure from your home folder without being inside it the path won't work. try cd into the extracted folder first then run./bootstrap from there, the PULSE_DIR might need to point to the current directory with a dot instead of ~/pulseaudio.src

also check if the folder name is slightly different, sometimes it extracts as pulseaudio-16.1 or something and not exactly pulseaudio.src
