Obs browser source and streaming informations missing

Hello people,

I'm very (very) new to Ubuntu and Linux in general. I've swapped yesterday and I'm having issues with OBS. I cannot find a way to have my chat and streaming informations docks and also I can't find a way to see the browser source option. I've read that there are issues with Wayland and that since the latest versions of Ubuntu you only get Wayland, did I understand correctly? I've tried ppa, flatpak and the default installation but I have the same issue every time. Plus I can't find a way to have the game capture option.

Is there a way to fix this or I'm just doomed to not have those?

Thanks!

Ubuntu ships with Wayland by default now, so OBS runs through a compatibility layer that breaks a lot of the screen capture and browser source stuff

Switching to Xorg at the login screen usually restores the missing options, you can pick it from the gear icon before entering your password

If the game capture still doesn't show up after that, try launching OBS with the `-Dpipewire=0` flag or install the xdg-desktop-portal packages for your desktop environment

Thanks for the answer, I've read about this fix online but I don't have a gear Icon in my login screen :( I've read that they are moving away from xorg that's why I can't see the option. Am I missing something?
