Wrong Order

Went to grab my Uber Eats delivery from my door and not only did I get the wrong order/ not my name — it clearly says DoorDash on the receipt 😅 the driver said “that’s what they gave me” Welp.

Driver’s fault, he should’ve verified the name to the T. Some orders have the same first name and different last name and the last name is only mentioned by the first letter.

Shake shack as an example only print the 4 letters of the first name, ( no last name) so i always verify items.

Either he's lying or the restaurant for some reason gave a guy showing an Uber Eats order on his phone, someone else's doordash order.

That happened to me once (they gave me someone else's mcdondlads) so now I meet them outside.

It happens when drivers are too lazy to even verify they got the wrong order. Most drivers on reddit think their job is just to deliver whatever the receive from the store, when instead they should be an extension of the customer and make sure the order is accurate.

If the customer can tell the order is wrong without opening it, then the driver failed.
