I Just Want My Money Back

I’m a hungry college student who had just gotten back from work after a long day and being soaked by the rain. I had Wendy’s a night before which had been my first time ordering from there btw and I really liked it so I decided why not Uber Eats it again the next night so that’s what I did I waited a good while because the driver had stops before me so by the time she arrived she I was good hungry. She came to me holding a bag of food which I obviously thought was mine so I gave her my pin but when she finally handed it to me I realized the bag wasn’t from Wendy’s. I hadn’t realized that the bag wasn’t Wendy’s because I wasn’t too familiar with them in the first place. when i was trying to resolve the issue peacefully not only did she continue to try to leave but she actively was picking up other peoples orders in front of me.She basically ran off before i was able to get a picture but i took a video of her with a bag that’s not Wendy’s but it’s not clear because she’s holding the bag tightly and she far away from me. I try to get a hold of uber that night but as it was late I gave up till tomorrow. Now here’s the problem Uber can’t give me a refund because I gave her my pin and I don’t have any images as of right now I used Cash App to pay so I’m trying to dispute the charge but is there anything else I should do that would help me in getting a refund.

Doesn't Wendy's bags have the Wendy's branding? If she handed you a random sack and you gave her your pin for that you're kinda cooked and going to have to hope Cash App helps you out

Ok so it was a regular brown but she was holding it tight to her side so i wasn’t able to see what it was clearly. I just assumed it was mine. I assumed the Wendy’s logo was just being covered because this has been my 2nd time ordering from them.

I gave her the pin while she was holding it yes I was being dumb but i was tired cold and hungry

I’m confused, she took the bag back after handing it to you? Contact support and tell them she stole it back from you after you gave her the pin and keep contacting them. Otherwise there isn’t anything you can do but dispute it.

But the bag of food wasn’t mine she must’ve delivered it to another persons house.The bag of food was from another restaurant. When j contacted support they said there was both they could do bcuz i gave her the pin even though she was covering the bag while holding it the way she did

You can still tell them she took it from you. The drivers aren’t allowed to take food back once it’s been handed to the customer and delivery is confirmed in the app. It doesn’t matter if it was the wrong order or not. That became your food when it was confirmed, so you should have kept the bag and contacted support to tell them you got the wrong order. She stole from you. What do you think she did with that bag? Not deliver it to the correct address, she probably ate the food.

So what should I tell support she basically stole my order because it was wrong or not even mention that the order was wrong
