The Saiyan race in general haha. A recurring theme throughout the show is the characters making dumb decisions and allowing their enemies to get more powerful because they're interested in the challenge

Gotrek Gurnisson (Warhammer)
He is a Slayer, a dwarf who seeks an honorable death in combat to atone for their past sins. Gotrek is the most successful (or least successful, depending on your point of view) Slayer to ever exist. He’s killed countless enemies in his search for death including trolls, giants, and demons.

This is the core theme behind Yujiro Hanma in Baki and is almost a subversion of that archetype, Yujiro isn't just a guy who lives to fight, he's the end, the logical conclusion of that type of character.
It's been a major part of Yujiro's character that his power separates him from the rest of humanity, bro is lowkey depressed because of it. Yujiro is the final stage of the "proud warrior" archetype.

There are many characters in fiction who are warriors that live for combat and nothing else, combat is their reason for existing, hell some of those characters are in Baki. Battle Beast, Goku, Godfrey from Elden Ring.
But Yujiro is the logical conclusion of that character archetype, a character who got what he asked for, trained for and became the strongest creature on Earth.
But achieving that robbed Yujiro of an objective in life, a purpose, he has nowhere to go now, nothing to do, nothing else to accomplish, he's empty. Hollow.
It really recontextualize his whole selfish reasons for having a son in the first place, he doesn't want Baki to fight him just to have fun, he wants Baki to fight him so he can have a purpose in life again, he doesn't want to feel that emptiness anymore, which is exactly what makes him a villain because he failed to realize that raising a son, becoming a father is also a purpose by itself.
He could have been a good father, a great father even, had he realized that but he didn't, to him becoming a father was just a mean to an end, not an end by itself, the end in question being "having a really good fight and being defeated by someone"

Dunno man, i think that if the doomslayer could go back home with his family and his rabbit he totally would, he battles out of necessity not because he wants too like the other examples
