ay, this is a long story, so if you're invested, stick around.

So I arrive at the United Center box office for Olivia Rodrigo tickets at 2 a.m. the morning of the concert, so I'm planning to camp for a while. A couple rows near me, there are these two guys who were loud as hell, cussing up a storm around this line filled with teens, women, and some actual children, walking in and out of the line multiple times, smoking cigarettes (I kid you not, probably like two whole packs in the 14 hours we were there), and downing shooters the whole night. So whatever, they're annoying, who cares, right? No, cuz right around, I'd say, 7 a.m., this woman, who I assume is their mother, comes up to them and starts sitting in one of their chairs. They leave to get more alcohol, they come back, and now it's the three of them. Some guys keep popping in around them. Also, the one in the Kanye shirt keeps calling this woman his "wife," and she's clearly physically and verbally uncomfortable with them.

So the box office finally opens, and we get closer and closer. All of a sudden, their momma comes back, some of the dudes who were popping in come back, and two younger girls show up, so now it's like eight total. And again, mind you, the whole time, from the jump, they were bragging about "Yesterday I made $600 off these seats," talking loudly about how they don't like Olivia Rodrigo's music, sorry, "Olivia Rodriguez," as they called her. And now, when we're damn near the front of the line, all these motherfuckers come out of the woodwork. It'd be one thing if they were all getting tickets for themselves, but each of them was planning on buying two tickets each and flipping them online. Again, the day of the concert, where true fans decided they wanted to see their favorite artist enough, so much so that they're willing to camp outside for at least a dozen hours just to see them perform. So anyways, all these degenerates pull up with Popeyes and just start eating in the middle of the line, cutting in and out of the line.

So I finally call 'em out, "What the hell? Why the fuck do you got a whole posse?" And they start originally trying to do some false civil bullshit, "Nah, nah, nah, they were waiting in line, they just left to get us some food," which was never true, and even if they were in a different place in the line, they have to stay in that motherfucking place. So after I say this, this other guy asks for their numbers, cuz everyone is marked with a number. So they all say the same number, and the guy is like, "What's going on, man? Are you good? You guys are getting all these tickets?" The guy in the Bears jersey gets in his face, "Are YOU good, man? You heard me, motherfucker, we're getting FIVE TICKETS!" And then they have to break it up cuz he's getting too close, again, still smoking cigarettes and drinking.

And the whole time I'm watching, and real quick, I have to go back for a second because when the mom got there, she was talking to the guy in the Bears jersey, and she was like, "I want to meet the boss. How come I can never meet the boss?" She was upset she couldn't meet the boss, and I didn't know exactly what that meant in the moment, but then we get to later in the day, where it's all of them, and there's like the fucking ringleader there, and there's all these other dudes just dapping them up, talking to them. There's one older guy, who I think is their dad, who's like, "Man, they had standing for $70, I got a whole bunch of them, bitch." But then he was also complaining cuz I think someone was trying to confront him about buying that many tickets, and he was getting angry that they were getting in his business, which I don't know how you can have that moral standpoint when you're literally taking people's money out of their pockets because they're not able to see the show for the reasonable price that they should be able to. But I don't know, I guess when you're a soulless thing like that, it's just kind of justified to you.

But yeah, so we finally get near the box office, and that dude who got threatened goes up to security and talks to them for like three minutes, and the whole time these people are mocking him and making fun of him. But then security comes up, and he goes, "All right, here's what's going to happen. This is a one-way conversation." And again, the fucking dude in the tank top starts acting all civil. He's like, "Whoa, whoa," and tries to extend his hand like he wants to shake his hand. I'm like, don't act all high and mighty now, dude. You were just acting like a degenerate and like scum, and now you're gonna act all fucking nice? Like, fuck off.

So the security guy goes, "I've been hearing from other people that you guys were in the line. I know you two were, but all you other people weren't in the line, so here's what's going to happen. You two can get tickets, but all you other guys, you're not getting tickets, and I'm going to tell the people at the box office that you're not allowed to get tickets." And they're like furious, they're trying to talk about it and debate him and change his mind. He's like, "No, no, this isn't a two-way thing. This is what's happening." And they're like so mad, and I was so, so, so, so happy when that happened. I was grinning, I was cheesing, I was so bitter and angry about it the whole time that when that happened, I was like, this just made my day. And I thanked the guy who did it.

And the last two guys who were actually there at the beginning got to stay, and they got their tickets, but they were just big-mouthing the whole time, just talking shit, acting like, you know, "Man, I'm gonna smack the fuck out that motherfucker, I'm gonna open-palm him," meanwhile the guy's just being all joyful and happy. But yeah, they were big mad, I imagine cuz there's some sort of like ticketing ring and that guy was probably their boss and this was probably like a big score for them and that dude just made them lose like 80% of their income for that day so good on him and fuck those guys

It’s gonna be a dad and daughter trip for my birthday and I HAVE TO GO OR ILL CRASH OUT CAUSE I ALREADY MISSED SO MANY OF HER CONCERTS. The prices rn are very expensive, the cheapest being around $800. Is there ANY WAY I can get for cheaper. I signed up for the waitlist but is there some other method im missing?
