What are these strange humans? Now I'm curious....

They’re Pins! They, with a lot of other parts, work together to be Humanity.
I draw these lil dudes a lot, they’re a side character in a story I’m working on.

It's weird to see those characters outside of the distressing memes sub.

I don’t post my work there very often anymore, it gets taken down too much. I understand my humor is a bit odd, but it’s a bummer, I really enjoyed that sub too.

Damn, that sucks dude. Guess 2nd person distressing memes are hard to properly nail down as "fitting in" with that sub

Ya, not to mention the “must have context” rule. Kind of defeats the purpose of uncomfortable feelings.

Yeah, at least when the sub's good it's REALLY good.

Very true, can get a bit repetitive tho

Fair. A lot of the time it's just "eldritch horror ending the world." But that makes the down to Earth posts like the one about the homeless guys corpse hit all the harder and therefore end up a lot nicer.

"None of your business."

You can’t just ask people where they keep their genitals! How rude!

Exactly! Even if it’s really confusing how they hide it because they’re basically head on a stick.

Detachable penis.... 🎶

I like to think this was just part of a larger conversation where the question was appropriate enough in context, all between mature beings.

It was. The concept of reproductive organs came up naturally since the yellow dude (Kuv) is an alien and a scientist. It was a scientific convo, until this moment. Kuv’s getting snarky with these two Pins because there is no evidence that they have genitals. They don’t even have limbs! Just a head, a neck, and a pair of floating arms. Not exactly “normal” biology.

In Star Control 2, one of the alien species you make contact with have theirs in VERY visible locations, full view, no clothes etc. and it makes for some hilarious conversation.

Of course the differences are:

  1. They’re amoeba sized gas giant dwellers.
  2. They’re not usually visible to their own kind. But our visual spectrum can see them.
  3. We don’t know what they are until we press them relentlessly to explain.

Interesting

"How do you mate?"

"Same as you, with our genitals."

"You have genitals? Can I see them?"

"I didn't bring it with me."

Just ram things into other things and see what works.

Which is ironically also my same mindset when I play RPGs

"Hang on, I know I left them around here somewhere."

Whoa whoa whoa! That is a VERY personal question!
