DCAU: So... when did Smallville tell you his secret?

MAWS: About a month after I met him, although I kinda had to twist his arm.

DCAU: Bullshit! I knew that man for years and he never told me! How'd you get yours to spill his guts?!

MAWS: Threw myself off the top of the Planet. I knew the big lug wouldn't let me hit the pavement, I kinda got him wrapped around my finger.

DCAU: You're kidding me.

MAWS: Nope!

DCAU: ...well, I think I got a theory to test for myself.

Funny how DCAU Lois is one of the handful of Loises that didn’t try this. lol

Even better is that Clark actually did tell her the truth (I forgot that detail earlier), but she thought he was full of shit.

But yeah, that Lois not being that ballsy (or as foolish?) like most of her counterparts is pretty funny.

Well Clark did lace the truth with a heavy amount of sarcasm.

In her defense, that Superman wasn't spending nearly as much time with Lois during the first few movies in the DCAU. He was kind of in a relationship with Wonder Woman at the time (DCAU released after New 52 was started and thus was based on that initially)

Edit: i was thinking DCAMU, not DCAU

I believe that's the DCAMU not the DCAU iirc DCAU is the animated shows like Justice League

You're so right. Those are the correct terms

MAWS Lois: who......what are you...

Eradicator Lois: *Angry noises*

“And then I flipped Brainiac the double bird,” Unbound Lois

“(Laughs hysterically) You did not!” MAWS Lois

“Hand to God, I did and he SAW! Top 5 best moments of my life.”

"So... how long did it take for him to tell you the big secret?" Smallville Lois

"Ah... like 3 months? The timeline is a little confusing." MAWS Lois

"Uh, you SUCK! I met mine when he was 18 and he didn't tell me for like another 4 years!" S Lois

"Oh, that's rough," MAWS Lois

"He was still hung up on Lana, so like it wasn't *completely* unreasonable." S Lois

"(Glare) Who. Is. Lana?" MAWS Lois.

MAWS Clark: "Oh Lana's my childhood best friend, don't you recall her daughter and her wife were at my parents Halloween party?".        In all seriousness there is a child in a season 3 premiere that does look like the presumed Lana from season 1 finale picture.... The lesbian portion is more of a hopeful theory of few of us have had for a while, with no real basis , we just like the idea of Clark having a tomboy lesbian childhood friend funny for when she interacts with Lois.

"So he just... climbed in the bath? Fully clothed?" MAWS Lois

"Ya... he was trying to be like... quirky... or something. I don't know, maybe it's an alien thing," Snyder Lois

"Uhhh... my Clark has been on earth just as long as yours, and he knows to lose the trunks before we have a bath." MAWS Lois (realizes what she said) "I mean, if we ever did... something like that..."

"Sweetie, we're all adults. And we've seen him with his shirt off. Ya don't have to pretend to have the fortitude of a nun," S Lois (snickering.)

"Weirdest thing I've experienced since meeting Clark... probably that insane space biker that loves to come to town to fight Superman every couple of months. Lobo, I think his name is, he's on a flying motorcycle and everything," Timm Lois

"Wow, that is pretty nuts. I think mine is the whole 'Super kids from the future" thing." MAWS Lois

"The who from the where now?" T Lois

"Jon? And Lara? Kids from the future? Oh.... you don't know who those are yet... Here, I've got pic!" M Lois

"Wow... Clark's genes don't even try at all, do they?" T Lois

"Just for powers and eye color, the rest is all us. 😄 " M Lois

Genius convo. Glad SOMEONE remembers Unbound. Very overlooked gem.

MAWS Lois got major insecurities the last time she ran into multiversal counterparts since she's still at the start of her career. (Whereas I suspect the others are a few years older than her.) So I imagine it'd mostly come down to the others reassuring her and giving her career advice.

Imagine their conversations with the league of Lois

8

Pretty sure almost all of them would make it their personal missions to take down the League of Lois'.

That'll either lead to an uptick in recruiting or a riot of a debate

She would vibe with a lot of these, and at least be a little jealous of their confidence

They're going to think she's too soft. The majority of these Lois Lanes are hardened veteran reporters who got to build their careers before meeting their Clarks. Meanwhile, MAWS Lois had to build her career from scratch while actively falling in love with Superman. And tbh I'm not entirely certain the MAWS was going to build up to Lois' Pulitzer because she didnt exactly get the attention her career needed from the team what with temporal shenanigans and cloning arcs.

S&L Lois will have to take charge here alongside Smallville Lois. It's different for them, they have kids.

Red Son Lois will be the most out of her depth here since she is the only one who is married to Lex Luthor and she's going to be feeling some type of way when she sees that damn near eveey other universe has her falling in love with an American Superman.

I disagree, theyd find her impressive, shes much younger than them and at the start of her journey. Theyd be chummy for sure.

3

u/Assassinsayswhat 2h ago

She's the "junior" Lois and it will show whether they are impressed or not. Sure, they'll give her some grace because she's younger but they'll pick up on how meeting Clark so early in her career has steered her focus away from work while the rest of them were winning awards by Lois' age.

Theyre not really the type to judge.. lois lane is a good person, sassy but kind and well meaning, she wouldnt put anyone down unless they deserved it, they dont judge, the league of loises did

2

u/Assassinsayswhat 1h ago

She is a good person, but she is also complicated.

4

u/Born-Till-4064 5h ago

Some of the saner Lois will be so embarrassed at how crazy some of them become when trying to get Superman to tell his secret

2

u/Ok-Friendship-996 4h ago

A meeting would be interesting... Though, given that in the episode where they had to deal with the 5th dimensional imp, who's name I can't spell, showed Lois images of the other takes on Lois Lane in the multiverse and got Lois all upset on how all the other Loises were more experienced and successful than her.

2

u/Independent-Try-3463 2h ago

Well it would be a releif for her to know that there are normal loises out there. Theyre not all perfect and obnoxious like the league of loises. Theyre cool and flawed

I think it'd be a HUGE mistake to invite Eradicator Lois to the mix. 😅😨

I thought it was a mistake to NOT make the other Lois's look like these or at least look different. Then again, I initially didn't like the look of MAWS Lois. She's grown on me but DCAU Lois is my favorite.
