Homebrew & Third Party Oh my proxies! What would you run these as?

I’ve got a few ships that I haven’t found cards for, so I ask you the community what would you proxy this list of ships in for.

For the rebellion:
Assault Frigate MkI type V
Rebel Cut down Acclaimator

For the empire:
Imperial Dreadnought
Pursuit class light cruiser
Imperial Nebulon-b
Imperial Acclaimator
Imperial-II class Frigate

I love using proxies! Here's what I could think of. Hope it helps!

Assault Frigate mk1 = Assault Frigate mk2

Rebel Acclimator = Assault Frigate mk2? MC80 Library?

Dreadnaught = Interdictor? Victory?

Pursuit = Arquitens (depends on size of model)

Imperial Nebulon = Raider

Imperial Acclimator = Victory

Imperial II Frigate = Arquitens or Gladiator

You know I’m with ya on most, but an acclamator is only 720m with 12 turbo laser batteries vs the MC-80 Liberty at 1200m-1500m and 48 turbolasers. The seems like a lot a punch compared to the humble acclaimator.

I guess the rebels really only have the AF MK2 as a heavy cruiser analogue huh.

I mean you are technically correct, but looking at the Republic Acclimator 2, it has 6 dice in the front arc vs the Liberty which has 7. There isn't really a better proxie. The AF mk2 works better for the size, but concentrates most it's fire in it's side arcs which is unrealistic for an Acclimator, though you could say that is due to Rebel modifications. Either way there will usually never be a perfect comparison.

So you can go to https://star-forge.tools/ and turn on both the ACE and Nexus toggles for some homebrew ships.

Id run the acclimators as probabaly acclimator 1s, the imperial neb as a rebel neb.

Theres some homebrew dreadnoughts floating around to pick from.

Imperial 2 i might use a victory 2 firing arc, just remove 2 of each dice from the nose, 1 red from the side and make it have the ISD nav chart.

Some of the entertaining campaigns i had used cross-faction equipment

Traditionally how comfortable are people with playing a cross faction list?

I’ve been thinking about getting an endurance carrier and a Nebula Star Destroyer to go with my Rebel fleet to make it more of a legends new republic vibe vs my imperial remnant

Most people are okay with mixed stuff if theyre aware of it. Some things get a little wonky cross faction so try to limit it to just the hull (no titles), also mixing squads from multiple factions get weird too.

Nexus has a homebrew New Republic faction with a Nebula as an FYI.

I had seen the new republic with nebula! I’m thrilled about that, I just want to use my Assault frigate and nebulon B’s at the same time lol
