Kane accidentally getting hit in sensitive areas multiple times, Y2J checks on Kane after the hits.
Description: Kane going through pain for 30 seconds

I bet that's what did it

I recall hearing that X-Pac would thwack Kane as hard as he could because he had the mask for protection

If I was X Pac sized and he was Kane sized, I would not do that
Edit: guys i know xpac isn't small. He's just much smaller than Kane

u/Sharp_Pea6716 6h ago
X-Pac was 6ft1 and north of 200lbs. If I was his size I still wouldn't thwack Kane with anything.

u/6thBornSOB 6h ago
I grew up thinking X-Pac was a lil guy till I met him at Starrcast and the MFer just seemed so much bigger than me, and I’m 6,2 230ish. Then I met Billy Gun and felt like a child.

u/MeanCantaloupe69 4h ago
I was so shocked to see him look like a giant in AEW, because I was so used to him looking normal sized in the attitude era.

u/TheLordJalapeno 2h ago
I remember seeing Billy Gunn in person and was legitimately shocked how massive he is

Previous gens were so much bigger. That's part of the reason they can't pull a mainstream audience anymore.
Bron Breakker and Billy Kidman are the same height.

u/Sharp_Pea6716 4h ago
Your premise is flawed. Previous generations weren't bigger, it was that the bigger guys got pushed regardless of their wrestling ability. There were MANY big guys who didn't get over despite their size. Mark Jindrak, Nathan Jones, Big Daddy V, Giant Gonzales, Mason Ryan just to name a few.
For the record, John Cena and Steve Austin were the biggest draws of their era, and they're both about 6ft 1. Daniel Bryan was 5"10' and Kofi Kingston was 6ft.

Sure but "X-Pac sized" insinuated that he was a small dude when he's actually North of average
5
u/Ballsskyhiiigh 4h ago
Average american male is 5'9 180 pounds. Not only was/is X-Pac above average, he was/is WELL above average.

The boner triangle between Cell/Vegeta/Tien is honestly so good. It's been two years, guess it's time for another rewatch 🤣

Legit think he was just selling the splash. Looks like he didn't actually get hit in the nuts once lol

u/BobSacamano- 7h ago
I have an older brother and I’ll never forget wrestling with his friends when we were kids and I got hit in the nuts and I said “ouch you got me in the midsection” and they all started dying laughing. I had no idea no one actually called it that

u/Youngstown_WuTang 7h ago edited 7h ago
We say mid section for nuts sometimes in the Midwest! Not sure if you are from around here though

u/izuuaaf 7h ago
This is why you generally roll out of the middle of the ring after your spot is done.

After a stomp and frogsplash to his dick I bet he wasn't thinking straight

I always respected how cognizant Y2J was with his opponents and how he noticed things a lot would not. Saving several injuries from getting worse than they would have been.

u/JonasAlbert84 Just remember ALL CAPS 6h ago
Just badly set up. You are doing moves with a guy laying in the center of the ring which i was taught was a no no. You bump and sell to the side. RVD could have hit something on someone else. Should have been Kane takes spinebuster and sells out of the way, Booker hits the side kick on HHH, RVD flying kick to Booker then RVD eats the missile drop kick from Jericho.
4
u/FreakSquad 5h ago
Yeah, this seems like it's probably on Kane - HHH rolled to the corner, HBK had rolled to the other corner, RVD rolled out of the ring, Booker rolled against the ropes...

This version of the Kane was kinda favorite with the IC title, but he got buried way too many times.

So would a “receipt” for this crime against humanity be Kane kicking Jericho in the knee cap next week?
2
u/feage7 6h ago
When it's everyone in the match one after the other and he doesn't roll out the way it makes me feel like this was one join receipt or something from a wrestlers court

This the kinda bit that Deadlock would have a whole pod episode about.
And it’d be pretty good

u/ClassFun1580 3h ago
Jericho despite his many flaws has always displayed a deep empathy for his fellow workers.

u/mordecai13_ 7h ago
Look at the number of stars in that ring, man. And we used to se this every week. These days, the Champ doesn't even show up for two straight weeks.

So what we got here?
Possible knee in the groin by Tri's spinebuster.
Booker T stept on his groin when going a kick
RVD's frog splash, that's gotta hurt in general
Booker T possibly mistiming another kick and landed on Kane again?
Y2J overextending dropkick and landed on Kane's groin.
Is this where the future mayor started fearing abortions?

u/real-darkph0enix1 2h ago
Booker straight up tried to end the Bearer bloodline with that scissor stomp.
