I think it was Excalibur who said “He was your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler.” and it really seems to be true

I’ve loved seeing everyone do these from every company. We as fans didn’t know Ben, we just knew Pac, so learning the human being has been nice to hear how wonderful he was

Sad to hear how fantastic a guy the wrestling world lost.

It’s so cliche but it really feels like the best of us are always gone too soon. So shitty

Consistent with what we've heard in that Pac was just a great human being. He is very missed

For guys the caliber of Ospreay, Ricochet, and Rollins to constantly talk up how good PAC was and how they feel he was better than them/something to aspire to is a high honor. Wrestling's best admired the man's skill. And obviously given hwo everyone talks about him, his heart.

We never see this level of personal grief and celebration from wrestlers. PAC was something special in that world. better than everyone in the ring and the best of everyone out of it. I want his legacy to live forever.

That was excellently worded and very well delivered. The whole thing is just so sad.

Hearing people speak about him and his abilties it only makes me question bookers more on how they couldn't see him at a main event level.

Even in AEW I don't think Tony viewed as World Title material.

I don't think that's true. I just don't think Tony Khan wanted to put the title on him because he was consistently traveling back and forth between England the USA during the peak of the pandemic. If he ever got stuck there, then you're basically operating without the world champion for an indefinite amount of time. I sort of always guessed that's why the All Atlantic title got created, which eventually turned into the International title. He was the first champion.

You watch those early, pre-pandemic Dynamites, it's clear Pac was supposed to be one of the stars. But then he would disappear for large gaps of time.

We only have assumptions to go on but it did seem like he was going to eventually turn on Mox and potentially get that main event level push. Wrestlers also typically push for that kind of stuff and Pac from everything we've heard was just a really chill humble guy that didn't think he was as great as he actually was

I think Tony absolutely saw him as talented enough to be world champ. The timing just never worked out. He had injuries and visa issues and the pandemic and it just ended up that when he was available that he could have been pushed into the world title it was already tied up with stories that he already had planned. It's certainly nothing compared to the tragedy of losing such an amazing human, but it's yet another tragedy that now really seemed if anything to best time to really push him as a main eventer and seemed to be where Tony was leaning with the Death Rider's stuff.

PAC’s AEW run was hindered by injuries and visa issues. I think TK wanted to put the big belt on him, but he was unsure about putting the main belt on someone not based in North America. Obviously he has changed his tune since Ospreay is UK based too, but at the time it seemed to function as a barrier to getting the big push. I’m sure TK regrets not pulling the trigger sooner.

Still can’t believe it’s real. RIP to The Bastard.

That was a great tribute. It’s like everywhere Pac went and everyone who knew him was in awe of his talent and in admiration of his character.

Seeing all these tributes makes me very thankful we have a legit alternative to WWE in which we could see Pac do what he did best
