In the 90's when did you realize how good Amazing Red was?

I know that's like a short stick of when he was first starting but imo he's always been a beast. If you've been watching him since the 90's when did you realize than he would be something special and a future Hall Of Famer?

I can't imagine too many people were watching him in the 90's. 2002 TNA is when he really started getting attention from a larger audience.

Unless you're Puerto Rican and watched him live you weren't watching him in 90s.

I doubt there's anyone here who watched him in the 90s when he was a kid lol. But like most Tna was when I discovered him. He was my first favorite wrestler outside of wwe followed by Aj Styles. Their x division matches were so cool. I even remember his cousins being jobbers at a wwe house show when I was a kid

Sure anyone can go back and search for his work then. But you're question was looking for someone who watched him in real time in the 90s

I knew he was amazing as soon as I saw him, I even remember the first match I saw of his which was Low Ki vs The Amazing Red. In the UK we had a tv channel called The Wrestling Channel and it showed loads of indies and TNA, so I imagine quite a few British people during the 00’s were introduced to him via that channel.

I was barely alive in the 90s, I realized how great he was in the mid 2010s

I didn't know who he was, as I got into wrestling super late. Then I saw him at aa New Japan show in Tacoma and a DEFY show around 2018-19 or so, and I was like "who the fuck is this guy, holy shit!" And then I found out.
