Is he ever coming back for an extended run?
I mean i think he peaked with the HIAC and feud with Punk. ALso fair play to him getting these sorta roles.
But the selfish side of me wants him back Claymoring people in the face and moaning about how he keeps getting screwed by everyone.

There’s Raw in Glasgow next January. Hopefully he’s back by then. I don’t think he’ll miss the European tour leading up to Royal Rumble.

Honestly with how they've booked him since the Punk feud I wouldn't blame him for sticking with Hollywood if they have no plans on having him with a decent title reign as a top heel. They wasted so much time on Damien and Jacob just to do nothing with them.

He's better off not.
He's a multi-time World Champion, Main Evented Wrestlemania, had a huge moment eliminating Brock at the rumble and winning it, had a recent killer feud with Punk etc.
Let him build his name outside the ring, then come back for a good short hater run with someone, leave again etc.
The way to kill careers is having the same people around all of the time for so many years non-stop.
If you look back at some of the most iconic wrestlers - they had pretty short runs.

These types of announcements are always weirdly worded to me. The movie comes out in 6 weeks, he hasn't just been cast now.

As someone who previously worked for a manager repping mid-level actors in Hollywood - trade announcements like this are all a marketing game.
Publically announcing a casting like this helps get people interested 2-3 months from the release, its not supposed to be "breaking news: this just happened" or anything.
On IMDBPro, if I was a betting man, i'd bet he's been listed as part of the movie well before this

Cody is in it as well. I feel like he will be a bigger part, too, or just get more screen time. His character is a bigger part of the marketing, anyway. Which makes sense, Guile is probably one of the first characters you think of when you think Street Fighter. I know Akuma is a big part of street fighter as well, I guess I'm just looking at it as a more casual Street Fighter fan. I'm not good at fighting games not named "Smash Bros" or "Soul Caliber".
Edit: I will defend myself by saying that Akuma is mostly a secret character, and is not really apart of the main roster of fighters. So that's also partly why I think Roman isn't going to be featured as much as Cody, since Guile is one of the most well known characters in the series.

Plus he can be doing movies for a long time what's the use of going back to WWE just to lose to Roman and Cody Rhodes. If he fights Trick or something or gives Sami a clean win before starting a program elsewhere it makes sense otherwise better to watch him in movie n show over losing to the same guys
