TNA has deleted every single mention on social media of Max Caster making his debut at Bound For Glory
Possibly due to one of the bars in his rap mentioning the bombing in Saudi

Sure but John cena wasnt on the 9/11 smackdown rapping jokes about the attack. Max is a new employee of a major television show, maybe run it by the higher ups first? Not everyone is as lenient as Tony Khan.
Imagine walking into a job for the first time and making jokes like that in front of customers? Its a bad look and worse timing.

They are in an active conflict with the Houthi terrorist group. Inevitably someone dies in Saudi Arabia every few days due to drone strikes. The rap should have never made it out to the public if TNA didn't want heat for the line.

u/AnEmptyKarst 12h ago
I think that the 'flying talent into an airport that is being bombed as part of an active war' stuff is what would put talent in danger
13
u/Fun_Neighborhood1767 12h ago
Yea there’s no way in hell that Max should get any blame for talent being possibly being put in danger. God forbid that happens it would be 100% on WWE for sending wrestler into a literal war zone.
13
u/apehasreturned DDT Shill 11h ago
The visual of Abdul-Malik al-Houthi watching fucking TNA and saying “this is the last straw, we need to bomb the shit out of the airport the night before Crown Jewel because WWE have a partnership with these guys” is genuinely hilarious.
This is not gonna be the difference maker, bro. WWE sending them there in the first place is the problem.
10
u/Just_Learned_2_Dance 11h ago
They are legitimately put in danger by traveling to Saudi in the first place. The responsibility to make it as safe as possible isn’t on everyone else. The company made the choice to do the shows there for money. If they are still planning to travel after the airport was attacked twice, I’m sorry but that’s on them. And to blame anything on Max is incredibly stupid imo

Now beginning to wonder if his comments on HeyEW about never rapping again in AEW was a case of TK saying enough is enough after he had yet another rap cut from TV. His final rap in AEW has a huge cut from it, it has the opening Jericho bar and then skips to the very end where he says Bowens name. Last year I just chalked his comments about never rapping again to kayfabe or a joke since it was HeyEW, but seeing as his first idea upon leaving was bringing back the rap gimmick maybe there was some truth there.
His comments from October last year:
“What I find annoying is that people love The Acclaimed so much that even though I do good now and people know ‘Best Wrestler Alive,’ ‘Let’s Go Max’, ‘Survive Five with the Best Wrestler Alive’, et cetera, they will still come up to me and go, ‘when is The Acclaimed gonna come back?’ When are you gonna rap again?’ The thing is, I’m not, first of all, I’m never ever gonna rap at AEW again. You see what’s happening to Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert for saying (bleeps) on TV, getting the shows canceled. Imagine if I get AEW Dynamite canceled or Collision canceled.”

Innocent people died in an attack that Max made light of as a joke in a rap. That's bad. I don't care if it's wrestling, politics or a sketch, there's something called common sense and reading the room. The fact that SOME of you don't see it as a problem in here and TNA shouldn't have reacted and taken action because TNA has a partnership with WWE who go to Saudi says it all. We're not talking about that partnership but innocent people dying. Sometimes remember there's a world actual world out there and not just this bubble.
